It is true, Assab is an Ethiopian territory. But I do not believe Abiy Ahmed can lead Ethiopia to victory and a win win solution as well. He is all about Orommuma. He is just the same as Woyane.

Abiy is a self centered incompetent leader who is using the Oromo people only to stay in power, but he is not Isayas that hates Ethiopia to the core and whose mere survival is to see it destroyed. no need to detail it here but Isayas recruited the tigres and oromos exploiting their grievance towards amara, while his true target is Ethiopia. a few years down he did the exact same thing except this time the recruits and the enemies are switched and today as we speak he seems to believe to have the Amaras on his side to fight "Oromo", while the target is still Ethiopia. and each time he succeeded superbly because of our short sightedness, weakness and division. but this time I don't think we are going to get another chance because he is going for the final KILL. Fano should stand and fight on its own and never give a hand to an enemy whose sole purpose is it to destroy Ethiopia!!!

• The EPLF advised the TPLF when they were in the bush, to unite all Ethiopians and defeat the derg as one; considering their name was only for the liberation of the Tigrayan people.

• the EPLF, in fact, favoured the EPRP but unfortunately they were weak both organisationally and militarily.

• the EPLF had ample opportunity of fragmenting Ethiopia in 1993, but it didn't.

• Had the weyane won the 1998-00 "border war" there wouldn't be any Ethiopia, today.

• Had the weyane reached Addis after massacring the Northern Command, you would be their coolie today.

The question I think is not between the choice of the lesser evil. When two enemies of Amhara fight it each other, one emerging a winner while the other a loser is not good either for Amhara - Amhara seen that in the last Tigray War and Pretoria bandit deals and historically in the Shabia- Woyane victory over Derg.

What should Amhara do in such critical moment is an important question. In my opinion, it should not be Fano contemplating on how to compromise but it MUST be Abiy Ahmed on how to address Amhara people demand - if he has the bigger dream of Ethiopia. If he aspires a sovereign Ethiopia, he has to settle the difference domestically by meeting the demand of Amhara people. There is no assurance that Oromiya would be the next Eritrea.

Ethiopia in general, Amhara in particular have been taken advantage of by their worst enemies a dozen times. This time around a sound analysis and a stronger self-defense is important.

Do you really think gala abiy Ahmed (the ferenjis buchla) is trying to get Ethiopia access to the sea without asking for permission from the ferenjis ? Really? Didn't you here about the oromos groups meeting they held for 30 long days? They were talking about how to create an oromo country.

And agew debretseon and agew Getachew are working with gala abiy, obviously. And agew debretseon is meeting with Esayas on weekly bases. Put these facts together and tell me abiy is trying to give Ethiopians access to the sea. Or, is he looking ways to give ability for groups to form a country

You never commented on Axumezana's campaign on regaining access to the Sea over the last three years! Are you with Axumezana or against ? That is the acid test for you whether you are Banda or a true Ethiopian!
