Paradigm Shift of Oromo Politics to De-Abeshization and Re-Oromization of Abyssinia!

What a good paradigm shift! Oromo nationalists persued the idea of liberating Oromia from Abyssinia as we believed that Abyssinians are non-Oromo, who colonized Oromia. Now, it is becoming clear that Abyssinians are the Oromo, who lost their identity in the last 3000 years of Solomonization, just like the Eastern Oromo lost themselves in the last 1500 years of Somalization. It is now the beginning of re-Oromization for both the solomonized and the somalized Oromo of the Horn. Especially, the de-Abeshization process must start now. I am happy by listening to some Oromo nationalists, who used to strive for an independent Oromia, now talking about their wish of fostering an integrative Oropia (Oromummà led Ethiopia). They started to percieve that Abyssinia is actually part of Oromia, thus it is better to re-Oromize the Abyssinians than to push them away for separation. It is in the best interest of the Oromo to forge a bigger integrative Oropia (our gross salary) rather than only foster the smaller Oromia (our net salary). For this purpose of re-Oromization, it is imperative to promote Afàn Oromô to primary working language of the country, replacing Amarigna. Surely, we can do this, be it now under the adminstration of Dr. Abiy or later after his demise!.

Truely, the original content of Ethiopiawinet was Kushawinet in general and Oromummà in particular. After the fake Solomonization of Ethiopian christian kingdom since 1270, Amarization of this original Ethiopiawinet = Kushawinet = Oromummà is going on. Now, that is why Ethiopiawinet is the same to Amaranet. It is this forged Ethiopiawinet, which almost all Oromo nationalists vehmently reject. That is why they are promoting the re-Oromization of this corrupted Ethiopiawinet. To the effect of this goal, making Afàn Oromo a primary working language of the federation, replacing Amarigna, is mandatory. Oromo Prosperitans led by Dr. Abiy are sabotaging this process and they are enjoying the status quo of revering Amarigna, instead of respecting and promoting Oromiffa. This trend of maintaining the domination of Amaranet/Amarigna makes the Biltsigina regime to be same to the past two dictators (Derg and Woyane). Thanks to the struggle of Oromo Republicans, this third anti-Oromummà dictator also shall lose power and surely the de-Amarization as well as re-Oromization of Ethiopiawinet will prevail in the near future.

The power struggle between the three competing nations (Amara, Tegaru and Oromo) in Ethiopia is going on. Both the ethiofascist Amara elites and ethnofascist Tegaru elites are no more in power. Certain Oromo elites could control the state power after 150 years bitter struggle. Unfortunately, the fool Oromo Prosperitans and Oromo Republican leaders are playing with this precious opportunity badly. The [ deleted ] Abyssinian elites are pouring benzin to fire of conflict between the two Oromo blocs. Amara elites are supporting and encouraging Prosperitans to destroy OLF and its Republican supporters. Tegaru elites are pushing the Republicans to fight against the Prosŕperitan regime. Our two fools seem to be in this Abyssinian game and are barking at each other. May Wàqa open their eyes, so that they will not fail Oromo people infront of international community.

Ethiopia belongs to any nationality, who ever has the key of power in Caffé Aràrà (Finfinné palace). Till 1991, the key was on hand of Amara elites, thus Ethiopia was de facto Amapia (Great Amaria = Amaranet dominated Ethiopia = ADE). Today, Amara elites love and cry for Ethiopia having an illusion of bringing back their already dead assimilative Ethiopia. Since 1991, the key of power belonged to Tegaru elites, thus Ethiopia was Great Tigrai and Tegaru elites were doing anything under the sun not to lose this key. They fought to death in order to maintain the status of their apartheid Ethiopia. Freedom struggle of the Oromo could take away this key of power from Habesha elites and own Caffé Aràrà, Fininné and Ethiopia. If we decide to own Ewthiopia, beyond liberating Oromia, ours will be accomodative Ethiopia, i.e de facto Oropia (Great Oromia = Oromummà led Ethiopia = OLE).

The only difference is the mechanism or the way Ethiopia will be transformed to Oropia. Amapia and Great Tigrai were results of dictatorial rule and Oropia will be the result of democratic game. In a true democracy, Ethiopia will surely be transformed to Oropia! That is why both Habesha groups give only lip service to the democratization process, but are practically anti-democracy. Oromo people and other oppressed nations should push whole heartedly for consolidation of our freedom from Biltsigina’s system of domination and for democratization process. Whoever doesn’t want to see Ethiopia being transformed to Oropia can leave the future union; we will give that nation its right to self-determination including and up to secession. Thus the question for self-determination should not be Oromo’s question (future providers of self-determination), but that of nations far away from Finfinné (political center of the country) including Amara of Bahirdar and Tegaru of Maqale.

To keep the key of Caffé Aràrà, both pro-independence Oromo and pro-union Oromos of OPP can work together and then use the power at Finfinné for realization of either an independent Oromia or an integrative Oropia (future democratic Ethiopia) based on public verdict of the Oromo. This was what Ob. Bàrô Tumsà taught us 50 years ago, when he said: “We, the Oromo, must capture state power by any means necessary. In order to do this, we must clandestinely organize all sectors of our society. It is responsibility of the young educated Oromo like you, to disseminate the spirit of Oromo nationalism when you return to your respective communities. We can only change the deplorable condition of our people by being tolerant to one another and reestablishing a necessary Oromo national unity. In this way, we can build a strong organization, capture state power and take actions that facilitate fundamental social transformation.”

I thought this vision of Ob. Baro was fulfilled as Dr. Abiy took the leadership in Caffé Aràrà, but his position and tone vis a vis the OLF is discouraging. In his speech, he once really sounded as dictatorial as Mengistu H/Mariam. There is no favour he did for the OLF to come home from Asmara. The Oromo struggle could free both Ob. Daud from EPLF and Dr. Abiy from TPLF. Thanks to the sacrifice paid by Oromo youth, now Ob. Daud is in his Gullallé office and Dr. Abiy is in Caffé Aràrà. No one of them can exclusively claim the victory and brag about it. My short message to both of them is: cool down and take the issue between Oromo Prosperitans and Oromo Republicans to our known ilà fi ilàmé being supported by our Abbà Gadàs and fix the problem. Otherwise, you will be a nice ball to be played by Abyssinian elites, so that you try to eliminate each other and fail the Oromo nation. Fact on the ground is that Abiy’s Prosperitans can never destroy the OLF, which the ethiofascist Derg and ethnofascist Woyane couldn’t. Rather, it will be the beginning of the end for Prosperitans’ existence in Oromia. Similarly, the OLF can not defeat the oponnents to take power, it only can spoil the existing nice opportunity of working together and make the Oromo lead future democratic Ethiopia (de facto Oropia). May Wàqa help you!
