FDRE top government security forces leaders visited Somalia.

February 16/2017(newspaper+):- FDRE military forces Etamator Field Marshal Berhanu Jula, National Information and Security Director General Ambassador Redwan Hussein and other senior government officials have visited Somalia one day.
The visit is based on the agreement that was reached to be held in Somalia following the bilateral meeting between the prime minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr) and the president of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohammed in Addis Ababa.
Accordingly, the delegation led by Field Marshal Birhanu Jula had a working visit to the Federal Republic of Somalia yesterday February 15, 2025.
When the team arrived in Somalia, the National Army of the Federal Republic of Somalia Major General Odawa Yusuf Raghe and the Director of Somalia National Information and Security Agency (NISA) Ambassador Abdullahi Mohammed Ali welcomed them.
The two groups have consulted on the situation of peace in Somalia and the region, on matters of maintaining peace, security and stability in the Horn of Africa and the African continent.
Members of the Somali delegation who have expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the success they have made in stabilizing Somalia and fighting Al-Shabab since 2007 BC, have discussed on the upcoming peacekeeping events.
The two groups have discussed on the launch of the African Union Peace and Stability Mission (AUSSOM) in Somalia and the importance of strengthening the achievements of the previous peacekeeping force.
The leaders of the delegation stated that the efforts being made to fight Al-Shabab should be adequately supported, have confirmed their commitment to work together to prevent terrorism.
They have agreed that the relationship between the two countries will continue to be strengthened in a way that respects the unity and sovereignty of Somalia.
