Yes this is good news for Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea, as well as Africans. The Oromos and Somali separatists (SNM aka Somaliland) and also some Kenyans tried to prevent his election. Thanks to the Somali brothers who supported him tirelessly in all regional and international forums.

Mashallah you are welcome brother. We are proud to have supported our AFar brother Mahamoud Ali Youssouf. Afars are a great and important people in the Horn of Africa. I am proud that a Muslim Afar man now represents and speaks on behalf of Africa to the whole world. Afars deserve their chance to lead Africa. As Somali's we are happy and pleased.
