Thanks to the Chinese, I just sold all my Teck Stocks

Post by Roha » 27 Jan 2025, 13:08

The Chinese have built an open AI source that can be downloaded anywhere and applied. It cost the Chinese start up $5.6 million only, while the big US AI groups such as Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft ... were spending hundreds of billions to create one.
I just sold all my tech stocks. The tech Index NASDAQ will crush even more soon.
This is a good news that puts technology to every poor kid in Africa, Latin America and Asia to build and create anything.
May God bless the young Chinese mathematicians and physicists.

The decline of America will be faster under our Dear leader Donald J Trump.

Shares in major US technology firms have plunged after the rapid rise of a low-cost chatbot built by a Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) firm.

The DeepSeek app, which was launched last week, has overtaken rivals including OpenAI's ChatGPT to become the most downloaded free app in the US.

US tech giants including AI chip-maker Nvidia, Microsoft and Meta all saw their share prices drop on Monday.

China's chatbot was reportedly developed for a fraction of the cost of its rivals, raising questions about the future of America's AI dominance and the scale of investments US firms are planning.

This is indeed a significant and concerning news. QQQ and VGT experienced a substantial decline in their stock prices.

In the US America, it costs more than US$ 350,000 for a computer science degree from an Ivy League college. The creators of the recent AI sensation Deep Seek from the Hangzhou University cost China, each under US$10,000. How does one justify costing US$350,000 for a USA degree? As their tech products, everything in the US is way overpriced, i.e. houses, salary, school, healthcare ..., sooner or later it should collapse and come crushing down.

Chinese internet hails "AI heroes"

The Chinese internet has been excited by DeepSeek's shoot-to-fame since the weekend.

It's been a while since there has been good news for Chinese tech - the noises around TikTok and its parent company ByteDance, a Chinese-owned company, have overshadowed the industry's glory to international audiences for a long time.

But now the Chinese feel vindicated. At this holiday season of Lunar New Year, the biggest holiday for Chinese, the most trending topics on Chinese social media are about AI and DeepSeek.

This morning, on popular social media platform Weibo, many top-trending hashtags are related to the AI tool. The topic "What is DeepSeek " has generated more than 11 million views, with state broadcaster CCTV's post on this leading the discussion.

Other trending hashtags include "the three AI heroes from Guangdong" - DeepSeek's founder Liang Wenfeng is one of them, and "Hangzhou six little dragons" - a phrase to describe the six star new tech companies that are based in the city of Hangzhou.

"DeepSeek shows us that only if you have the real deal will you stand the test of the times," a top-liked Weibo comment reads. "This is the best new year gift. Wish our motherland prosperous and strong," another reads.

Arab concubine
If you sold your stock after the crash of the stock market, you just proved what we knew previously that you are a dumb head. You buy when there is bloodbath in the market not the other around. Warren buffet philosophy, be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy.

Let me give you an advice. Buy Palentir and you are going to thank me later.
