Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
1. Only country in Africa where opposition parties are strip-searched at the gate of parliament.
2. Only country in Africa where the Cross is engraved on the foreheads of women of north Ethiopia, embroidered on the whole of their qemis or gown from chest to toe and males wear the Cross made from wood or steel or aluminum as a neckleace on their necks.
3. Only countey in Africa where one tribe language is tge official language of the country.
4. Only country in Africa Muslim women religious attire leads to denial of education to those who wear them.
5. Only country in Africa where there is civil war all the time.
6. Only country in Africa where more languages are extinct, will soon die out or need urgent intervention despite the UN Charter imposing responsibility on a member state to prevent language death.

Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
This is not a constructive post about your country.
It is people’s right to tattoo a cross and whatever they like on their body.
Although I am not against (unharmful) religious rights, taliban style male oppression of women, including whole body covering like a tent, denying education and driving, is patriarchal and something muslims themselves should fight.
If you have gone to college it should have been easy to understand.

Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
I understand that you visit this forum to spew hatred on specific ethnic groups other than Amara which you like to kill Gurage to extinction. Obviously, you hate yourself being a Gurage as long as this remains your wish for Gurage to disappear into the belly of Amara. You should accept that you're a traitor. An enemy of Gurage's existence.
About Taliban practices, you do not talk to me about them. If you you don't like them, talk to their founders, their enablers and financers, the US and Saudis. Mind you, my post is not about a foreign country's uniqueness. It's about my country's uniqueness. If you are illiterate or uneducated, feel inadequate about your knowledge of Ethiopia, best you should do to yourself is pass from commenting ignorance.
I know your religious extremism triggers emotions in you to which you have no control. But, try and say nothing.

Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
This is very much the crux of what you have been throwing at your uninformed followers your entire political life. You continue to do it intently.
Is it correct that it is one tribe’s language?
Have you ever before now asked yourself why ሸጎዬ and ሸግዬ sound similar? Did it ever occur to you when you were presumably in the field that ሸጎዬ and ሸግዬ sound similar, let alone dance to the tune of either of them?
በትግርኛ ተናጋሪ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ቁምጣ ላይ ተንጠልጥለህ ኢትዮጵያ ላይ መዥገር መሆን ኣልበቃህም?
Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
Nega.
Ask for help to be educated about differences between a dialect and language. Take for example Spanish and Portuguese. According to your uneduducated view, they are dialects of one language. But that's uninformed. Both are independent languages.
Amharic is an indepedent language. Not a dialect of Tigrinya.

Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
7. No where in Africa a second tribe, the Oromo, has the publicly expressed ambition to make its language the official language of Ethiopia.

Be informed that ሸጎዬ is ኦሮምኛ whereas ሸግዬ is አማርኛ።Dama wrote: ↑26 Jan 2025, 19:42Nega.

Do you agree or disagree?
If you agree, can you answer the question?

Odie the fool.
TPLFites are not sellouts like you.
TPLFites died and still die for their group's survival.
Go ahead and curse Shabia, TPLF, OLF, ONLF, Fano all lfs. Unlike you they understand Ethiopia and make sure they continue to exist with dignity.
Buchilla!!
Re: Ethiopia's uniqueness in Africa
This is what makes you very busy.
Then again, do you have a clear proposal about how you wish to implement it for the nation or that you fail to read the writing on the wall about it?
Once more, haven’t you admitted that you are not from Oromo “tribe?”

Look! Read and understand what's said.
I only posting facts that are publicly known that make Ethiopia unique in Africa. For questions of why and how, I am not the right person to ask.
