Abiy Ahmed declared: If Gurage needs a region of its own, Kebena also deserves its own.
Now, OLF trained and Abiy Ahmed tolerated Kebena and Mareqo do the killings of Gurages, they rape old and young women, loot cattle, crops and shops, evict farmers from their lands and homes and take over, evict Gurages from their homes and shopes in Welkite and Enseno. The same happens in Qose by Hadiya thugs.
Both Kebena and Mareqo terrorists praise Hadiya for its support and brotherhood in many of their social media posts.

Historically from what I heard from residents, Hadya was always enemy to Enor gurage region. ቆስየ is pretty close to border. There used to be respected ሶሬሳ people like ቀኝ አዝማች during old time that fought back or played by tradition. Now the young generation is very mobile, only elderly people and kids stay who are attacked by the animals. The hadiya are another barbaric group like the Oromo from what I heard in the past. The only way to go should have been to arm and defend your ground at least.

Try to read on Gurage. You're a 21st century Gurage. Legends and folktales change over time. I don't have to initiate you to read. If you hate reading on Gurage to please your Ethiopianist friends, read on Ethiopia. You will find Gurage history as party of Ethiopian history.
I think you're referring to Agaz Darsamo. A Gurage hero. Oustanding Gurage warrior , one of the few.
Captured by Menelick, brought to Ankober and presented to Menelick. Lucky for him, the neftenyas who captured him had some moral and ethics of war. They did not cut out his genital as they did to Dej.Balcha Aba Nefso, at a tender age of not more than 20.
Menelick offered him a high military position in his army. This was some time in 1889. He thanked Menelick. And asked Mendlick if he would be allowed to return to his people promising Menelick that he would live a peaceful life and a loyal subject of his. Menelick insisted because Azmach Darsamo was a talented war leader and he wanted to use him, to train him more of course and appoint him as leader one of his battalions.
But the Agaz insisted to return as a peaceful subject and finally Menelick obliged.
Amharic was not as painfully pervasive as it is now in Gurage. He must have spoken thru translators.
Returned to Inor to live peacefully and die among his people and family. He died at a very old age? not sure but over 70 years.
His grandson or great-grandson is a Civil Engineer, a leader in infrastructure developments of Inor of the Gurage Zone.
Yes, there is a ghost Hadiya citizen who is an evangelical priest primarily stationed in US and moves back to Hosana to agitate hate against Gurage for the return of the lost glory of the Hadiya Sultanate.
I saw the video in Youtube years ago in which he gathered Hadiya politicians and scholars such as historian Professor Getahun Lapiso Delibo of the Department of History, AAU.
At that very meeting, his criticized tge lunatic war-mongering priest by posing rehtorical questions such as what are we talking about at this day and age. I heard Getahun later published a book on the history of Gurage as more native to the region than of the cushitic groups.
Nari Ker mentions Agaz Darsamo in this track, "Niqu".
