One thing stays consistent, why?

Post by DefendTheTruth » 25 Dec 2024, 14:09

Ethiopia can be given any form of an access to the neighboring seas of Red Sea and Indian Ocean and reports already indicate that Ethiopia might have managed to secure such an access after the much alluded to Ankara Declaration. Before that Ethiopia was also reportedly promised to have an access over the defacto independent Somaliland and even the tiny Djibouti did also reportedly tried to unilaterally grant Ethiopia such an access. We can add such grants to access to the sea, including unfettered access. But from the beginning to until today Ethiopians' demand has been consistent and it was clear and precise: Our access to the sea can never be granted fully unless we get this over our own sea port of Assab.

Ethiopia without Assab and Assab without Ethiopia are not realistic enough!

Assab: Ethiopia's pertinent demand for unfettered access the sea.

DefendTheDeceit and his inconsistencies lol

if OPDO says Issu, he cheers Issu Issu
if OPDO says MOU, he cheers MOU MOU
if OPDO says ANCARA, he cheers ANCARA ANCARA

What remains consistent is his deceitful nature

and he’s not even fooling anyone

edusha,
you missed the point and inadvertently accepted what I tried to highlight. It is said in the adage የትም ፍጪዉ፣ ዱቄቱን አምጪዉ, Isayas can come, but without Assab not so welcome. MOU can can come, but without Assab not so welcome, Ankara can come, if without Assab, then not so welcome!. Even Edusha can come, but only if she can bring Assab with her!

Go back and refer to the book and find out the meaning of consistency. It is precisely this!
