Of course, every Ethiopias symbols,esp the lion on Ethiopia Airlines was removed. The lion in front of the palace was removed. The lion by Legehar was removed , now from autobus. Peacock replaces lion. Is there any significance for Ethiopia, the peacock? None other than, is symbol of pedophilia and Lucifer

I don't know why the "Galla" tribe and the Tigre/TPLF junkies are scared of Ethiopian lion. There are two reasons why this lion is the symbol associated with Ethiopia.
1. Christianity: Jesus is the lion of Juda, and the Ethiopian kings historically were associating themselves with Solomonic dynasty, hence the lion of Juda. So, the land of the ARWE (king ARWE of Tigray) and the WAQA of "Galla" are scared of the lion of Juda

2. Black maned lion as seen on Addis Ababa city bus are special to Ethiopia: Genetically distinct from other lions in Africa and Asia.

The balck maned lion is the Ethiopian national animal. The national bird of Ethiopia is the Stresemann's bushcrow, also known as the Ethiopian bushcrow. The national animal of Eritrea is the camel. Their bird is said to be the turaco.
