Oromo’s Dual Struggle: Horizontally Checking Naftagna and Vertically Fighting Biltsigina!
Currently, Oromo people are confronted with two enemies: the dictatorial Biltsigina in power and the nostalgic Naftagna trying to comeback to Finfinne palace. Accordingly, Oromo nationalists seem to be devided because of possible prioritization of whom to fight first and most. At this time of power struggle between Naftagna and Biltsigina, some Oromo elites want to support Biltsiginna in order to hinder the coming back of Naftagna, whereas several Oromo nationalists choose to fight against Biltsigina being by default an ally of Naftagna. Which of the two camps is right: those supporting Biltsigina or those in alliance with Naftagna? I think both blocs have to take time and reconsider their stand. As far as I am concerned, all genuine Oromo nationalists in OLA, OFC and OLF should act in unison to check Naftagna and to fight Biltsigina. The dictatorial salisawi Derg (i.e Biltsigina), which hitherto compelled Afaan Oromo be secondary to Amarigna, must go and the nostalgic Naftagna, who are determined to destroy Oromumma, should be checked never to come back to Finfinne palace.
