The Agames
The Agames gave him an extended lifeline by refusing to abide by the final and binding decision of the Border Commission in 2001. Instead of accepting the agreement they had signed and exposing the dictator among Eritreans as "the king without clothes," they prolonged the conflict, thinking they could outlast him. The dictator exploited this, using unresolved border issues between Eritrea and Ethiopia as an excuse for his uselessness, corruption, mismanagement and the widespread scarcity of essential service in Eritrea.
Fast forward to 2016, when the Agames were driven into a corner by the Qoro Oromos and faced severe challenges in Tigray. To breathe and liberate themselves from their self-imposed encirclement, they started a war against the federal government. This provided the Eritrean dictator with a golden opportunity to settle old scores against the Agames, repaying them with interest and reducing them to mere subordinates of the Galla Prime Minister.
The Akeleguzians
No one can deny the grievances of all Eritreans, including the Akeleguzians, who oppose the Eritrean dictator. Many people remained silent because they believed the country was under threat. Except for opportunists whores, most supporters (including myself) backed the regime, as the so-called international community—led by the US—treated Eritrea unfairly and undermined its security. Woyane also attempted to undermine the territorial integrity of our homeland.
What did the Akeleguzians do? Instead of adopting a neutral stance in the conflict between Eritrea and Woyane, they became more Woyane than Woyane itself. Most of those who donated money to Woyane weren’t Tigrians but Eritrean snowflakes. Without any credible evidence, they accused the Eritrean Defense Force of genocide, theft, rape, and gross human rights violations—allegations that were later refuted. This betrayal and treachery by some Akeleguzians paint all opposition groups in a bad light among patriot Eritreans. Patriots view them as opportunists willing to sell out the country for a loaf of bread, prioritizing the removal of the Eritrean dictator over Eritrea's sovereignty and well-being.
Any one with a modest IQ knows that the Eritrean dictator have neither gained or lost in the bickering between Somalia and Ethiopia yet here are the snowflakes portraying the Eritrean dictator as the one who lost big.
