Two of Africa's most important South Africa's Mbekie and Nigeria's Obasanjo also sang with you. I have not heard Biden sing along with you but Trump called us shiithole Africans.
It shows you have to market and sell Ethiopia's soul more to get recognition of your worth.

Dama,

You cannot change history, but you can make history. No indiviudal leader be that Mbkie, Trump or Biden has the power or authority to approve or disapporve the history of Ethiopia. You do not need someone to accredit Ethiopia's own history. The past is past, the presnt is your obligation and tommorrow's the generation coming next. All the so-called developed countriew at one point poor or poorer than today's Ethiopia. Ethiopia used to donate food for countries affected by famine - that was yesterday. China, for instance, was poorer than Ethiopia; Japan was in par with Ethiopia in terms of economic development stage, but these countries are wealthy now.

There was no country called South Africa or Nigeria until colonizers tailored out and named them so. It was Ethiopia that trained South African freedom fighters and even armed Nelson Mandela - that was all yesterday's history. But it is impossible to delete the page from the chronicle of history the fact that South Africa was Apartheid state or China was a starving nation or the U.S. was built of Slave labors, etc. However, they wrote a better history in the next pages of their chronicle. The problem with some folks is their thinking system is tainted with some form of bias. It is this kinds of personality looking things through tainted glasses that affect the journey toward better tomorrow. Some are simply out of pure evil jealousy, for example, Shabia troll Fiyarmata, works her arse off to refuse an intelligent analysis historical-database and validation that Ethiopia indeed is the oldest nation on God's green earth, and that remained independent, as well as the incredible contribution of Ethiopia Orthodox and the diverse linguistic/cultural groups - the mosaic of Africa.

You can do nothing about the Golden past except appreciating, but you can score a better today and pass it on.

Amara was not part of D'mt. Nor was it part of Adulis. Nor part of central Axum or latter iron age primitive civilizations of Yeha or Dbarwa. These kingdoms adopted the Sabean scripts and with the help of Greece produced Geez in a wrong way.

Amara was a distant periphery that was an onlooker to the city-states of the above at best or at worst such as Begemdir or Beja Midr were the outposts for dumping prisoners of wars of the Belemeys or the Bejas of the Kush Kingdom.
Amara is a usurper of the histories and state structures of the above.

Our country Ethiopia was founded in 1945 after the end of WW2. This year marks our 80th anniversary as we celebrate 80 years of nationhood. We are an old nation, but not very old.

Axum was a kingdom, not an empire. It existed after Adulis and D'mt city states. No historical relationships exist between each. All existed independent of each other, without continuum, at different times, by different groups of people.
Yeha and Dbarwa emerged as city states after the fall of Axum at different times. Not inheritors of Axum, city states on their own right by differing group people. Archeological finds do not link them together as same people

No historian has established that the peoples of these city states that emerged at different times were one and the same.

Agame Dama,

Whether Axum was empire or Kingdom, does it matter ? I am not trying to be precise here. But, those historical anecdote are more relevant to Eritrea than the Zemene Mesafnt founded fake empire of Astopia.

Teach him this “high IQ Moran by his italian clonizers” about history.
These BS people have 3-4 nerve cells in their brain one for lie, the other for bad temper and the third for rebellion.
They know no freedom in their entire history.
Axum was unfortunately located in Tigray and near the the forsaken Eritrea but basically it was multiethnic multicolor bustling kingdom from Yemen to North East sudan to deep south and to now abandoned Eritrea.
Unfortunately the so called Eritreans “declared” their freedom but refused to stand on their own two legs. They for some reason don’t get satisfied untill the biker in anything Ethiopian. They follow us wherever Ethiopians go.

You must have plucked this list out of your own ar'se.

What is for sure, however, is that Ethiopia is leading the entire world in toilet scarcity, as 93% of its population are lacking in toilets. Needless to mention that your cursed land sh'ithole is synonymous with famine in the minds of people across the world.

Axum Kingdom rather looked toward and across the Red Sea for most of its needs, i.e. influences, trades and power until the Eastern Roman Empire located at Byzantium in modern day Turkey came calling in. Christianized it in the 4th century AD, colonized and used it as a proxy, to fight its wars against the goldrich Kush Kingdom in the northwest and rich Sabean Kingdom in South Arabia that controlled the spice trade of the Red Sea.

Axum did not expand southward. It did not have to. Its southern and remotest military garrison was in the province of Lasta.
