Such an assumption is inane . Ethiopia and Egypt do not share borders, so border disputes cannot happen.
Some people, especially the ER members, for some time have imagined a war might break between Ethiopia and Egypt. True, there is misunderstanding between Ethiopia and Egypt about the amount of water that should flow to Egypt. Whether there is shortage of rain or not the water that Egypt gets should be constant says Egypt. Ethiopia has disagreed. The amount of rain in a given year determines the water flow Ethiopia reasoned.

Yes, some countries have started war before for a reason that is more silly than this, and one could reason Egypt might do start war no matter. To do so however Egypt does not have the military, financial, and man power superiority as some people imagined it. She brings the war to “enemy” territory. That is troublesome by itself. If war starts, it will have the potential to devastate the economies of the two countries, but it does not change the amount of water Egypt gets. As the Ethiopians are keep saying the weather dictates that. For those two reasons, I believe Egyptian politicians will try the diplomatic route as long as possible. That is their only choice, although it might not get lead them to what they want.

Ethiopia as a nation can not fight wars. The Agames are good fighters. We will see how far FANO goes .. the rest pure trash. You saw how the TPLF army captured and drove Abby’s army like cattle with no brains in hundreds at a time through Meqele.
