You made good points and I strongly share your sentiment,brother Jegole. Yes what we did was we are still hoping there are still good people inside Ethiopia happened to be not in power. Those who come in power are not bright, educated and farsighted but ደፋር መሃይሞች are the one made it to led this nation. We are still hoping and will helping those who love Ethiopia and have goodwill to live and prosper with all the neighbors country. However, we are also considering the one you are suggested .

If he is gone, Eritrea as we know it will be gone. Either will descend into Ethnic chao in itself or be progressive to find its proper position......

The most stable form of Eritrea's existence is to co-exist with Ethiopia in some peaceful form. When Ethiopia is politically stable, it is likely Eritrea in this or that form is going to be stable.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, you like it or not, your fate is intertwined with your neighbors that means including Ethiopia.

I understand your frustration and if I were Eritrean, who's to say that I wouldn't feel similarly. I get it.
However, I have to offer a rebuttal.


One, the current govt of Ethiopia like the governments of Ethiopia
before them, are serving the interests of the donors and aid givers, not the interests of the Ethiopian people. Whether it be Oromos or non Oromos.
Look no further than the origins of his party the OPDO, a party created to keep Oromos subjugated and facilitate the exploitation of Ethiopia/Oromia to build/benefit tigray and Eritrea.
So when the monster that your former allies and your own govt created, turns against you, you have to blame yourself a little bit too. You guys had evil intentions when creating that puppet party and now they're turning against you guys and it's actually just. It's like God's judgment. Very fair. You can pretend that the eritrean govt is perfect like Jesus but they are farrrr from innocent and perfect. They have their fair share of sins.
