Affable,

sorry couldn't find your old post, where I also wrote you back a long reply after watching how you were suddenly shifting the side. The shift was from Abiy's side to Fano, you can't deny that. You also added as one of the reasons for that "your sister used to admire Abiy, but back then she will never want to hear about him. This my memory of what you posted.

Yes, I am an Ethiopianst to my core, my country and its people. I am also conscious that Ethiopia is not a vacuum entity rather filled with components that make her what she truly is. Unless I love the components as they are, I can't claim to also love the overarching entity. Do I?

DTT you don't deny the deep mess Ethiopia is in since Abiy came to power in all aspects including absence of security and peace, tension in the HOA region and bloody civil wars, the collapse of the economy that led to the hyper-inflation, the downward trajectory of the democracy including freedom of speech or assembly, the growing ethnic polarization.
but you still say Abiy should be supported to stay because according to you it is not his fault. really

DTT, the Abiy watch dog, let me help you here. Do not waste your time trying to find my old post. I have never been a supporter of Abiy or Fano per se. Yes, I wrote my sister cried with joy when Abiy came to power, believing the tribal disharmony would be behind us, and became disillusioned when the tribal politics takes a new form, but still persists. Awhile back I was supporting the government stand against the Tigray rebels. I also was supporting the Fano movement when the issue was Welkait and Humera and so on. You could research all your life about my posts and you could not find a single sentence that says I favor the Fano movement to march to Addis and take power.
I do not believe the theory that a tribal movement could grow to a nation building nonsense.
So in simple English you do understand let me summarize to you : I have never supported Abiy or Fano per se, rather I supported a stand they upheld at a given time.

Well,

I oversaw this reply (there is a difference between "reply to" and "reply" when people designed the internet communication technology we are using here), but let me point out here that I considered you until now someone with a better than just such a hollow skull over the neck.

Yes, I am "Abiy watch dog" and there are millions of citizens out there who are also similarly "watch dogs" of Abiy. We took on that role voluntarily not to serve any individual but the interest of our country and thereby submitting ourselves automatically to the role of "watch dogs". We are glad for doing so, because we care about our country.

I have told you multiple times that opposing is not a sin, but trying to oppose based on a rational reason is crucial. You failed so far to present any such a reason and instead admitted to have followed what some members of your family have told you to oppose Abiy.

And now please spare us the lecture of your intention to take a shield behind a presumed proficiency in English to compensate for the clear lack of rationality.

I am done!
