I live in a Democrat dominated state, full of liberals and my vote would not make that much of a difference. To me both presidential contenders would not make much change in my life. Their major difference is their foreign policy that does not encompass the Horn of Africa.
However, Trump may change the global politics radically for good or bad in the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.

I am an American. America is my country. As an American, I select my president based on American domestic issues. American foreign policy is not driven by Ethiopian national interest, it is driven by America national interest. It is the business of Ethiopian government to conduct its relation with my American government based on Ethiopian national interest. The two issues are separate for me. Just because I am an American, I don't expect Ethiopia to be American friend. I would think so only if I were a citizen of both Ethiopia and America. Ethiopia has nullified my Ethiopia citizenship. What I have is my Ethiopian identity which no government of Ethiopia can take away from me. So, I voted for Harris because, Trump poses a clear and present danger to American democracy and the liberty of the American people whom I am a member of.
