No national policy on Religious costume in Ethiopia?

Post by Dama » 29 Oct 2024, 09:10

Some schools allow niqab all the time, Muslim womens' face veil, some allow and disallow it as they wish, depending on the daily mood swings of the school directors. When they disallowed it in Gurage, Gunchirye High School, they arrested the girls in jail. Community errupted in protest. Many dead, many injured, properties burned and smashed.
Birhanu Nega should have a national policy on the niqab.

Ethiopians do not need further to divide by Arab inspired identity called Niqab, which is not theirs, Silte man Dama.

By the way, Siltes who are inspired by Arab is now become the Oligarchy in Ethiopia. Their man Aby is in power now laying with Middle East against Orthodox Ethiopia. Many of the money for Ethiopias development from the prince UAE, this means he is in control of Ethiopia. The Liberation Fronts are agents for foreigners and do not give hoot about Ethiopians. Aby govt, deceiver gets its arms from Orthodox Russian to kill Orthodox in Ethiopia.

Many Muslims pretending to be Oromo because they speak Oromegna are fake Oromo Siltes riding Oromo, creating radicalism inside Oromo and against Orthodox and Amara, individuals like Junedin Sado.

If you see a woman wearing niqaab she is either a prostitute or a wahaabi extremist. Niqaab is not mandatory in Islam. It's an old arab culture.

Why cover the beautiful face of the Ethiopian woman. It makes no sense.

If you pass a value judgement from your narrow side, it becomes a policy, there are going to be social upheavals, revolutions, and instability.
Take for example, the Cross sing + embroidered on the gowns of Christian women of Amara, Tigray, and other parts of Ethiopia. Including Gurage. If you feel offended because you are not a Christian and stop them from attending school, your bintolerance biolates the human rights of the women.

In North Ethiopia, Amara and Tigray, women also tatoo the cross + on their foreheads for religious reasons. If you forbid them, they will erupt in protest with deadly consequences.

Take Sudanes, Iranian, Irqai, Singh men, Tuareg men of the Sahel and Sahara, they cover their heads with a sheet of cloth wrapped around their head.

My point, you cannot judge religious practices, whether they are acceptable to YOU or not right. Religion, even pagan practices are protected beliefs. When you do violate their rigjts to practice their religion, you are not peaceful, you are the trouble maker, causing harm to peace and harmony in the society because for them to defend their faith is a protected right. In the courts of law, you will be guilty and responsible for all the deaths and destructions.

Niqab, a religious costume, does not need a new policy. It should be covered within the human rights code regarding freedom of faith. Those officials, groups and individuals who violate the laws that protect freedom of religion should be persecuted, arrested and brought to justice.
Not new laws but enforcement of human and civil rights laws.

Berhanu Nega, MoE of Ethiopia, on the lawfulness of religious and traditional attires.
Alas, you heard it from the Horse's mouth. Niqab, embroidered Cross +, tatoo + on forehead, head dresses, long dresses, cofia, barneta, name any dress, all is legal anywhere, any time, in Ethiopia.
Those who forbid, beat and arrest Muslim girls from wearing niqab should face justice. He should enforce the law.
Too many suffered unncessarily. This has stop.

You're saying because she is a Muslim and wearing hair-covering, she couldn't run fast enough.
You're getting worse on your religious bigotry despite counselling.

Gunchirye High School, 7bet Gurage, Christian students protest outside high school. All of them may not be students nor locals, suspected.

Make school uniform mandatory. That is a simple solution. In a 3rd world society where illiteracy is rampant groups abuse normative rules to the detriment of society. Education is neither a mosque nor a church - it is a scientific laboratory where ideas, facts and physical or abstract events are openly investigated, researched, debated. So, every student should roll up his/her sleeves to do work of utility. No student should be allowed to disrupt school activity as a side by taking it as a side-business while being full-time carrying other out of place activities.

Too much silliness is going on in Ethiopia. It got to be stopped. Penet's calling people to dig out dead bodies they would raised the dead from the ground; Wahabis students completely covered in dark sack clothes, disrupting teachers and leave class in drove to go out and return back to class doing this almost 2 or more times is completely un acceptable.

Islamaphobia creates instability
Cause: Niqab disallowed, Muslim girls dismissed from school; in Gurage they were jailed. Some even died. Properties destroyed.
