I am fully against demolition of homes and shops without the permission of residents. It should be considered anti constitutional for the government to just feel free to destroy any property that is DERG behavior



What Abiy is doing is for foreigners and the upper middle class in Ethiopia to live in the heart of Addis Ababa. Its a classist policy.. its not to eliminate poverty rather push the poor out of the public eye of tourists as Abiy seeks to create an image of wealth for tourists
