Germany is the largest country in Europe, both population wise and economically. It is also perhaps one of the most closed society in Europe, if not in the world, even if this is not reported so often. Until very recently Germany's national football team lacked any black or braun skinned member in it, unlike the those of the other major economies in Europe, like France and UK, or even some Scandinavian countries. Italy could be called more closer to Germany in the mix in this regard.

Now we suddenly hear from different sources that Germany lacks adequate human resources to meet the demand of its giant economy in the world, I think third in over all ranking of GDP size in the world.

How could that happen while also many of its political actors are hell-bent on repelling any foreigner from their land?

Was it lack of human resources or lack of openness that hurt Germany in terms of garnering the economic profits of an open society?

Recently Germany also signed an agreement with Kenya to bring in Kenyan skilled workers to meet the growing need of Germany's economic development.

They move around the world and fetch skilled man power while also determined to expel the many Africans and others already in the country.

Such a dichotomy can only exist in societies like that of Germany.

Population decline.
It is a chronic problem for major industrial countries excluding US & Canada who have a robust immigration system.
The birth and death ratios doesn’t match because of less birth rates.
Only Africa, India and South America do not have a population decline. Even there it is coming slowly.

Just like they did with natural resources including fruits and vegetables, the West is harvesting Human Resources from list developed countries at will.
Ethiopia is a farm for the developed and rich countries to harvest the youth and the brightest.
The Oromuma government with its endless civil wars and economic mismanagement is serving the Western farm system very well.

I don’t know about the move to expel foreigners. I don’t live in Germany but you do. Nations do not like illegal immigrants and national laws allow them deportation. Expelling foreigners who are permanent residents would have been a major news around the world. If you are serious about this debate then backup your allegations with evidence.
Whether they like it or not Germany or other industrial nations only have two choices to save themselves from extinction. Have children or import foreigners and those foreigners can only be people of colours. Those are the ones who are making babies. Because the 3rd world is unliveable because of war and famine, young people tend to migrate to the liveable west. Just like you do.

Why not Ethiopia, rather than or including Kenya? Did you ask yourself this question?

I don't live in Germany either, you claim out of the blue. I don't need to live in Germany or in America to inform myself about global issues like migration.

The fact that population is in decline in many so called industrialized nations is not new, it was known for perhaps decades by now. The question is why are other similarly industrialized nations not in such an import of skilled man power spree as the Germans are currently?

The problem could be in lack of readiness to absorb foreigners adequately rather than lack of foreigners in their country.

They have been bringing in many foreigners into their country ever since the time of German economic miracle of the last century, in the aftermaths of WWII. Where are those Gastarbeiter and their descendants by now?

If we take a closer look at the proportion of foreigners in Germany, then I don't think they could trail the other Europeans, but their readiness to absorb them could be far behind.

This is not the same as just trying to appeal to the sheer emotions of the gullible Ethiopian diaspora to score politically and wish to come to power in Ethiopia afterwards, it takes a bit more analytical power, which you lack.

I don’t think you are following the facts thoroughly. Of the 7 industrialized nations only Japan is reluctant to let foreign workers come in and settled.
The US, Canada and Australia are built by immigrants. And they have a robust immigration program. They let in over 300000k+ every year. But they hate illegals because of the need for screening.
Japan is a rigid country when comes to foreigners and its paying the price. 8 million homes are empty because of aging deaths. Their birth rate is the lowest in the world.
Do you know Muslims/ Arabs do not get a visa and are not allowed to settle in Japan?
