Trees are very essential for human life and animal lives. Trees provide shades, attract rain, protect the ground from landslides, produce multiple healthy and nutritive fruits which supports and nourishes the body and the mind. Trees also provide fantastic raw materials for the production of multiple essential medicines which cures lots of fatal human and animal diseases, etc.
Trees also provide hiding places for some renegade people like ato Thomas H when he did run fast to the nearby forest during the Ethiopian law and order protection campaign even though later on dragged out of the forest and made to face justice out of the forest. So massaging trees symbolically with bvtter and thanking it for its bottomless multiple generosities can only be characterized as a drop in the ocean.
Many cultures both in the West and in East do hug the trees and express their thankfulness. You can go and hug a piece of dry long dead piece of wood covered with colorful blanket while mocking people who massage the living and life giving great trees.

Thomas H is not Ethiopia and he is always hostile to Ethiopia a country name coined by the great Cushites, Oromo ancestors. Thomas got pissed off because he has been removed from sucking Ethiopian juice dry for free. That is why his current behavior is full of bitterness, envy and jealousy just like Judas Iscariot. And all of these negative activities and feelings will only eat him from the inside and kill him just like Judas Iscariot.
