Amhara has to fight only its own fight. All OLF, Woyane and Shabia are irreconcilable enemy of Amhara people. Amhara has to build its own defense asset and get well organized defense structure. Amhara should know how complex the issue dealing with each of these evil enemies - each of them are favorite child of Arabs and the West. They have the backings and support. The only solution is being a winner not an alliance to anyone of them.

It was a fact that Ethiopian defence forces, Eritrea forces, Amhara and other states special forces from different states invaded and committed genocide, rapping and looting Tigray during the two years war. At that time Amhara was the territory of the enemy( ለአብይና ለኢሳያስ ደግሞ ደጀን) However, that does not nullify the 7 centuries cooperation ( while competing for power ) between Amhara & Tigray in defending and building Ethiopia. If you have a just brain as you claim , you should write and admire how the few Tigrayans were able to defend themselves while under siege for two solid years and still have about 300k war hardened fighters ready to sallow Isaias.

Axumezana,

As you very well know Ethiopia is among the very few oldest countries in the world. It is the few countries that took shape over thousands of years. Unlike the hundreds of the counties in the UN, Ethiopia is not a country conceived in the era of colonization by colonizers. Ethiopia does not have re-defined or recreated. The only prime challenge Ethiopia has been facing and endured for generations is the unhealthy intervention of external entities with the ill-aspiration of eliminating Ethiopia as a country from the face of Africa - just like the Arab world and Iran dreams to do against the State of Israel. There is no better way to understand what has been happening against Ethiopia. What is unique, however, in the context of Ethiopia, they use select opportunist groups from Ethiopian themselves to as their agents to execute their wish.

That does not mean Ethiopia should be left behind from the rest of the world and should not transform itself a better country serving the economic, social justice and political will of its citizen as far as those changes are deemed essential and are in sync with deep-rooted fabric of the society. Change or transformations are not based on the will and imposition of certain group or individual, it is not driven by the want of an individual/a few groups. It should neither be imported or imposed by foreign adversaries. It has to be driven by the underlying objective circumstances of the society. The revolution of Derg and the Revolution Woyane, and now the Orommumization of Ethiopia has proved these changes were engendered by the lusts of foreign entities not by the critical mass of Ethiopia.

As to me the first important #1 step is the normalization of the country. By that I mean the already paralyzed and lethal structure of EPRDF which is continuing as PP has to be removed or stopped. It would be a great favor for the country if the current Orommuma PP dissolve itself and call for a peaceful dialogue and formation of an independent care taking government, until the country heals and chart its political future. First, stopping the bloodshed and saving the lives of many lost in their teens and youthful age is morally repugnant. Second, it shall be noted in my opinion there is no enmity between tribes in Ethiopia. It has been an enmity between thugs who coated themselves in ethnic group or tribe. The country had undergone about 225 Kings when either one of them deposed or passed away, the mutiny had been between heirs not ethnic groups; however, since the introduction of tribalism by Woyane we all see what happened. It went beyond the a few ring leaders and Abiy Ahmed too cloaked himself in Oromo (simply to find a cover) - which means he says an attack on him is an attack on every single Oromo. That is how you measure how this tribal structure is useless and deadly. The same can be true if a Sidama, Wolayta, etc. holds power. Even today in many countries when a leader or a system is deposed its effect remain with the deposed leader or his clique - it does not spillover to the rest of the millions of the nation's citizens. Thus, awareness creation and the political consciousness of citizenship and citizen engagement is important. Media play significant role in educating citizens positively, rinse off the last 34 years of tribalism and euphoria of creating independent tribal country such as Republic of Oromiya or Tigray. Ethiopia does not deserve to be the mainstay of coin-collector ill-educated tribal activists fuming in hate and conflict. These media want conflict because it is their source of income. Thus, a care taker government; education of citizen, peace and unity as well as correcting the fabrication of Woyane and OLF such false stories ( eg. OPPFist who pulled sh!.t out of his arse 750 years) or Burqaw Zimita ( of an Eritrean Ebab/snake) is important to equip people with sane psyche.

To make things short, the problem for Ethiopia is not the choice of having Federal or unitary structure. The problem is the forceful indoctrination of lethal tribalism. Thus, destroying the nest of tribalism (where hate and genocide are hatched) is #1. Its manual has to be banned. That does not mean Ethiopia will start from a clean slate. There are many legal and normative procedures the country can goes functional until a conventional constitution based on grassroots participation is put in place. I would say these: All Ethiopians should elect their president in the future and the basically needs the demolition of Kill-ALL (tribal regions). For now, I will stop it here
Note: discussions of this nature are good even if we do not agree. However, in this forum there are elements that do not want Ethiopians have time to discuss and brainstorm. They start with insult and conclude with insult, because their goal is to deny Ethiopians the time to think for themselves. They are not wasting their time; they are wasting Ethiopians time. Ethiopians should brainstorm on the solution instead of pitching to their adversaries. Ethiopia should no longer be locked in conflict which is 100% imported.
