Oromos are not indigenous to Ethiopia but expanded using opportunities, confiscating land, killing others and converting them to their culture.
They had 5 clans who often fought each other for resources which included:
The Oromo people are divided into several clans and sub-clans, each with its own history and social structure. Some of the major Oromo clans that migrated into what is now Ethiopia include:
1. Borana: Known for their pastoral lifestyle, the Borana are primarily found in southern Ethiopia and northern Kenya.

3. Macha: Predominantly found in the western part of Oromia, the Macha clan has historically been influential in various socio-political dynamics.

5. Ajji: Primarily found in the eastern Oromia region, they have distinct traditions and social structures.

There was neither Oromo nor Oromia when they invaded. They were locally called “Galla” which later changed to Oromo because the former was thought to be derogatory.

There should be citizen based politics and a country based on individual right; all ethnic politics should be dismantled as ethnic politics installs hegemony and conversion of ethnics by force as well as blundering their right and resource.

Oromo lives in Ethiopia, Ethiopia equally belongs to all ethnics, country and nationality precedes ethnicity and we will have a law and constitution that sees everybody on equal footing-democratic citizen based country-that is what all should be advocating. If that does not suit you no body is going to sit with you and beg. People will fight for their right as it is happening now

Whatever SOME Oromos did 100s of years ago has nothing to do with us today. Individuals are Only responsible for their own deeds, it's quite simple. Not for the deeds of their ancestors or their descendants.

Opdo got power through exploiting the struggle that the Oromo protests initiated that was later joined by other Ethiopians, and by getting the necessary votes within the former EPRDF. Debresion hoped to get the votes necessary to keep tplf in power but he failed.
Like the previous governments, the current one is a small group of elites. They represent their own interests, not those of the nation they hail from.


Also this talk of equality, blah blah is nonsense. Justice for all, regardless of ethnicity? Yes. Are all nations equal? No. That's the truth. Bigger nations with more land, resources, etc, will inevitably be more important, stronger and influential than smaller nations.
Hence the term "majority rules, minority rights."
That's why Amara and Oromo are the two most influential nations in Ethiopia.

Any group can fight, all they want, but without Oromos, you will never be able to dismantle federalism. Period. Self governing Oromia is here to stay. Improving the federalism is the only way forward. Let fano rule Amara. Let tplf rule tigray. We can meet in the capital for matters of mutual interests.

I am not the one who is emotional. No reason to be emotional. I argue in the position of hated, oppressed etc and you are the one who looks emotional.
I don’t hate oromo public, I answered in the past I worked and served in the region, I know Oromo. The politicians and the civilians will always be different as in any segment of the country. They exploit the people by creating agenda.
What i am saying is simple:
The current political model, Oromo oppressed, Oromo has land mass (stolen land) , number bla bla and should have the upper hand and oromize other ethnics is not a lasting model and you will be defeated very soon if you are in that group. The best lasting model would have been to stop ethnic mantra and fight for equal right as an ethiopian citizen in the country.

Talking about oromos committed atrocities, as if the entire nation is responsible for the crimes of individuals or for what occurred hundreds of years before any of us existed.
That's not a reason or logic based argument. That's what an emotionally, hateful individual would say.
By your logic, all land is stolen, not just oromos.
Singling us out just proves what you say is based on hate, not logic or justice. All states, empires, countries, etc are established through conquests and expansions. Ethiopia itself was established that way, amaras ancestors did that, oromos ancestors did that, somalis ancestors did that, and all other nations.
Just because your ancestors didn't conquer as much lands, isn't a reason to blame us all dude. It's not our fault.

Why do you do you lot , simultaneously assume the roles of both oppressor and victim? It is quite perplexing, dear lad, to witness such behaviour.
