Axum belongs to all of us not only to few royal families. Axumezana believes Axum is the most unifying political & religious center for all Ethiopians, Eritreans and the Horn Africa people including the Yemen people. Even the 1st Hijra Muslims were hosted there. That is why as Jerusalem was declared the capital city of Israel after 2000 years , Axum should be declared the capital city of Ethiopia ( after more than 1000 years) in the next decades. Axumezana believes the Ark of Covenant is in Axum but have to be returned to Israel upon the construction of the third temple in Jerusalem, which shall happen soon.
