Isaias is preparing for war once again, determined to fulfill his lifetime ambition before his time runs out.

Anyone from Eritrea who perishs in the upcoming war with Ethiopia won't be recognized as a martyr, they'll simply be regarded as casualties of a rather absurd situation.

Isaias is orchestrating a scenario where Eritrea becomes embroiled in conflict, leading to its defeat and surrender, all to achieve his lifelong ambition of unifying Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Isaias's goal in life is to dismantle Eritrea, rendering it incapable of self-sustainability, and ultimately to reintegrate it with Ethiopia. The people of Eritrea have faced impoverishment for the past 34 years, and they will undoubtedly vote with complete certainty for unification with any country willing to embrace them.

Almaze,

Isayas does have a feeling for Ethiopia. It ends right there. He can not and will not reverse the statehood of a sovereign country. He will die in office and get credit for a successful independence movement. History will not be kind to him. Whether it’s his fault or not, imprisoning heroes for a life time is not forgivable by any imagination.

Dark Energy, Let me ask you whether there is any law in Eritrea that prevents Isaias from proposing another referendum on reunification with Ethiopia. Isaias governs Eritrea and has the freedom to act as he wishes, while his supporters applaud his decisions.

Even in the picture the president is handing the magic key to the Tigrignya speaking talented young Ethiopian PM. If he has the feeling then why doesn't he negotiate viable reintegration right now when he is alive and able?

Easy smiles of the Galla Abiy. Is it part of the child-llike happy-go-marry teachings of the Pente?

Almaze,

Eritrean independence is not reversible. I don’t believe he could do that. If he tries, he is done.

Sunny,
Thanks but no thanks. Eritrea is a sovereign nation. Now, the little twerp is spoiling it for you. You are going to be the most hated in Ethiopia. The mighty Amharas fell. That should have been a strong lesson to you. The Emirates guy is not reliable. Sooner than you know it, he will drop you like hot potato. Mark my word. Ethiopia is disintegrating. The question is how violent the process will take place is that, your guess is as good as mine.
