The Amharas are under attack by the entire military apparatus, with civilians being killed every single day. More than five million Amhara students are out of school, and there are no medical facilities providing even basic treatment. While the people are suffering, they act as though controlling an enclave is the ultimate goal. Abiy isn't talking about Fano because they aren't a threat to him, and he is using the media to further divide them. Instead of spending their time criticizing Eskender, they should focus on the real threat: Abiy, who is destroying Amharas economically, politically, and militarily on a daily basis. They complain about Eskender's use of $1 million to divide the Fanos, while the government they are fighting against is using 200% more to destroy them. Abiy has even stated that, if necessary, he can stop all Ethiopian projects and spend $10 billion to ensure his security. If there is anyone capable of leading this just struggle to a successful end, it will be Eskender the Great.
