No. Not them. But the pervasive culture of pacifism. That Ethiopia will one day learn peace from Gurage. That peace they are proud of is defencelessness, loss of land, economy, peace, justice and an endangered language. 50% Gurages in villages now prefer to speak Amharic at home.

I condemn the failure of Gurage elites to adapt to changes in political philosophy of Ethiopia.

They rather talk about not disturbing the peace of Ethiopian government that's handling so many issues such as with TPLF, Fano, OLF, etc.
They may now sympathise for Ethiopian government about its fiasco with Egypt and Somalia.

A combination of a lot of things.
A few to profit from attitudes of babseating Ethiopia while she commits human and civil rights of Ethiopia, to give deaf ears to Ethiopians suffering by the gov they babyseat is a crime against Ethiopians. Their silence on Gurage is also carried to silence on Ethiopia's sufferring. A kind of do-nothing bunch. Absolutely selfish.
