A Somali proverb says: "Stealing a drum is easy, but finding a place where to beat it is not."

As I've said it to you many times, it's not about turning the fake MoU into an agreement, or even recognising the breakaway region as a country of its own, but materialising it for Ethiopia. In other words, Ethiopia entering Somalia and start building its daydreamed coastal land.

To date, there's no even a single earmarked area for the purported coastal land.





It's all about making stupid noise to distract Ethiopians from the real and pressing domestic issues, including the wars that have bleeding out the country.

All Clown Abiy Ahmed's decisions have been wrong. This could be one of them. MoU or not, no impact on Somaliland's desire to remain independent as far I can see.
Really a weird man. Raised a Muslim, graduated from Koran school, converted to evangelist Christian but retained his Muslim name.
Loved his Amara mom, hated his Oromo father but turned a very deceptive and vicious Oromo nationalist.
