Re: THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE BACK IN AFRICA FOR A MODERN SLAVE TRADE
Cut the crap about the Ottoman Empire and instead talk to us about what is going to come out of the meeting that'll be taking place tomorrow in Ankara.
Re: THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE BACK IN AFRICA FOR A MODERN SLAVE TRADE
Somaliman,
I know you are an Eritrean, not a genuine Somali patriot. The Ottoman Turks sold African as a chatelle. I feel sorry for Somalis. They are now a piece of Turkish real estate.
Well, tomorrow, Turkey will force Hassan Sheik to give sea access to Ethiopia and Ethiopia in return will betray Somaliland and cancel the MOU. Personally, even though Ethiopia acquires some kind of Sea Access, I hate my nation bowing to our historical enemy -Turkish empire. I also hate that Abiy betraying SLR. But, this has been Abiy's policy from the start and that is why Abiy never officially stated his position SLR recognition.
Then again, there a second level game taking place. Ethiopia could sign some kind of agreement and underneath continue to work for SLR recognition.I have always said that Ethiopian quest for sea access and SLR statehood are two separate things. It is my firm belief that SLR will become a state in spite of and despite Ethiopian positions.

Thinking is one thing, while knowing is another thing!I know you are an Eritrean
How do you know that I'm Eritrean? You're being funny!
To me, Turkey is no different from the West, China, and Russia. Their approach might differ from one to another, but at the end they're all scrambling for the resources of Africa and none of them is involved in Africa on a philanthropic basis. Sadly, we Africans are failing to date to forge a win-win based economic interaction with these powerhouses.
