Glad you come to sense to why all Eritrean , those who oppose and support the government were united on this matter and supported the government for expelling the EAL. As the government statement clearly explained why it came to its final decision to stop the EAL from operating in Eritrea, it gave multiple warnings, asked for justification why Eritrea customers are being charged extremely outrageous price for an hour flight while EAL charges the same amount to its oversea destinations as you post it one example.
The EAL chose to ignore all the threats and warnings and in fact it continued to increase its price. I personally think, this is done, direction given by PP boss just to [deleted] off Eritreans and its government. This has nothing to do with demand and supply as you desperately oppose the government decision the other day. If EAL had operated this scam in the US, the most capitalist country in the world would have lay the anti-trust charges against it, had forced the airline repay all its customers in billions, had the airline pay punitive penalties and compensation to anti-trust body and finally for second violation, it would have completely shut it down and hold its properties until all penalties were paid. In fact, the Eritrean government is very lenient for not demanding compensation and reimbursement for its citizens for years of outrageous overcharging Eritreans and take it to WTO, the UN body that deals with this kind of illegal practice by a government owned company against another nation. Remember, price hike is only one of its crimes, but also selecting only Eritreans for rogueries security check while they were just transiting, purposely delay flights to and from Asmara with no explanation when the Eritrean aviation demands the answer (all airlines in the world are required to explain to the host country’s authority a reason for their delays), missing luggages and refuse to pay compensation to passengers although international regulation demands that.

Though I oppose and condemn the Eritrean dictator stopping the airline to operate in Eritrea because I believe in competition because it is good for the customers....How could the Ethiopian airlines justify this kind of rape? Aye Ethiopians.
If the visionless Eritrean dictator was visionary and had his subjects interest at heart, , instead of ordering the Ethiopian airlines to stop operate in the Eritrean aviation, 2 or three medium size aircraft is enough to meet the demand of Eritrean customers to fly from Addis-Asmara and visa versa.
