Although the whole argument is presented differently, the core issue presented is simple it is the claim to protect Amharanet from Ethiopianists. This is what Eskendr is currently accused of. In his latest statements, Zemen has grouped Eskendr with Abiy and Shimiles and condemned them similarly.
So far, aside from labeling each other, they have not yet presented any strategic differences between their camps. Another sad aspect is the involvement of cheerleaders in dirty laundering busness. Amharas don't have a monolithic ideology, but when it comes to their struggle for survival, they must secure it by arms. fano is vulnerable because it isn’t dealing with issue number one: struggle like the liberation fronts (nationality) or as united under Ethiopia. The regime is easily able to see this dichotomy and widen the wedge.

eplf/ tplf “succeed” because they first secured their position as the sole representatives by destroying jebha/ edu. fano doesn’t have to destroy one another violently but it needs to find a way to resolve its ideological divide. Eskinder is not a latecomer in the Ethiopian struggle; his actions, whether good or bad, are a matter of public record. Being involved in the struggle, he may have made some mistakes, but he also made the right moves. You cannot cherry-pick and paint whatever picture you want. If you don't want anyone with an Ethiopianist agenda to get involved, an agenda that serves as a bridge with other Ethiopians, then Fanos need to come to terms with this in a timely fashion and make it public.

If there is a sector of Ethiopian society that has a favorable view of the Amhara struggle, it is the Ethiopianist camp. This support is not for the reasons some might contrive to think. Ethiopianist is known for shouting in the western streets for the white man to save it from rag-tag militias of TPLF. Ethiopianist ideology wants to be saved by Amharas not vise-versa. The attempt of Eskinder and his Ginbote associates is to ressuract this dead ideology using the blood of Amhara through clever ways and medias. Ethiopianists entered in Addis 7 years ago hoping to fool the young Abiy Amhmed the butcher. I agree with the basic tenet of your argument. The worst enemy of Ethiopian nationalism has been the so-called Ethiopianists/Marxist bunch, ranging from the Ethiopian student movement to Ginbot 7, and I agree that Amharas have paid dearly because of that. Amhara nationalism is the right response to deal with what is taking place in Ethiopia.

This, however, is only part of the equation. Consider Addis Ababa, where close to 60% of the population is Amhara, a city responsible for more than 60% of Ethiopia's GDP, and where Ethiopian nationalism is stronger than elsewhere. Can the Amhara Fano struggle succeed without the support of the center? I doubt it.

Amhara Fano controls more than 80% of the Amhara region but hasn't made a dent in Abiy's economic and political power. If cutting off the Amhara region from the center is your measure of success, you should know it is the Amhara region, not the center, that is suffering. To gain power at the center, you must do what is palatable to the center.Or use force to beg for your mercy .
This is why both the TPLF and now the OLF/OPDO have paid lip service to Ethiopian nationalism, even though their plans are contrary to their public stance. Some Amhara activists seem to be a new breed who condemn it head-on. What strategy?

Don't forget that there are 15-20 million Amharas who live outside of Amhara proper. Either you abandon them, relocate them, or control every nook and cranny of Ethiopia to guarantee their safety. So, while the accusation against political entities that sponsor the Ethiopian agenda is valid, that by itself is not a political solution. Understanding the complex intricacies of Ethiopian society needs a courageous but wise approach.

I have never said i am sessionst. I do believe Fano should chase the enemy everywhere in Ethiopia where the enemy hides when that day comes. The struggle won't be limited in Amhara Region.

As to those Amharas in Addis or other regions, it is upto them to support Fano by joining. They should also support financially. But if we trully converse on this, Are those significant numbers you qouted active in supporting Fano? no they are not. In my view, the 15-20 million Amharas who live in Addis and the rest of the country are hodams who forgot their identity and only live for the day singing to the tunes of whoever comes to rule. Brother Misraq is absolutely correct. The Amharas have to look after themselves first.
They shouldn’t be a saviour of Ethiopia. And they shouldn’t be used as a means to further the interests of smaller and hostile ethnic groups. And it has nothing to do with a secessionist agenda. In this trying time most of the smaller ethnic groups have abandon them. Each and every ethnic group has to bear responsibility for safeguarding and building Ethiopia.

Back to the substance of the thread, even if it is true, it is unwise for Zemene Kase to go public with a serious of accusations against Eskinder. That is because he doesn’t have experience. Since his name is thrown into the controversy, he should keep a low profile.
This is a learning curve for young FANO. At this point stay calm and close the cracks. Create a joint task force of 4 regional Fanos and thoroughly investigate what exactly happened. While you do keep the safety of Eskinder in isolation.
It is better for Zemene not to rush to the media. Stay low and don’t give interviews. In serious matters such as this use a spokesperson. Always talk and consult with other FANO leaders before you say anything. Avoid contacts a phone card warriors of the diaspora media and activists. In serious cases such this use a 3rd party.

Evolve and proceed with the fight to protect the interests of Amhara people. Put conditions such as “there will be no negotiation until PP force get out of Amhara region and the government agrees to resign to give way for a transitional government”.

"መነሻችን አማራ መድረሻችንኢትዮዽያ" ወደ መነሻችን አማራ መድረሻችን ባህርዳር ሆነ? መድረሻው ኢትዮዽያ ከሆነ ሁሉን የሚያቅፍ ትግሬና ኦሮሞን ጨምሮ ስትራቴጂ ሳይነደፍ ትግሉ አንድ ኢንች ከአማራ ክልል አይወጣም! አብይ በአለም ሜዲያና ሌሎች ፊት ፅንፈኞች አድርጎ አይደል ፋኖን መሳል እየታገለ አማራ ለ100 አመት ስልጣን ላይ አይመጣም ሲል የሚንገበገበው?
ልጅ ያበስለው ለቤተስብ አይበቃም ነው የሚባለው?
TPLF ወደኢሃድግ metamorphose አድርጎ የነበረው ወዶ ነው? በአለም መድረክና አገር ውስጥ የፖለቲካ ተቀባይነት እንዲኖረው አልነበረም? ፋኖ የአማራ ታጋይ ብቻ ሆኖ ከተቸነከረ ማደግ አልቻለም ማለት ነው ከሽፍታነት የዘለለ ስራም አይስራም!!
በተረፈ ይሄ ኢትዮፒያኒስት የሚባለው ቡድን ማን ነው የሚለው ፋኖና ደጋፊዎቹ (የኢንተርኔት አጨብጫቢዎች ሳይሆኑ) ይህን ለመመንጠር የቤት ስራቸውን መስራት አለባቸው:: በዚያ ውስጥ ጥቅመኞች opportunity ወይም ጥቅም ፈላጊዎች አማራ ጠሎች ፋኖ አስመቺዎች ከነዚህ ጋር ምንም ግኑኝነት የሌላቸው አገር ወዳድ የፋኖ ደጋፊዎችን ለይቶ tag ማድረግ አለበት::
አለበለዛ ዝም ብሎ ኢትዮፒያኒስት የአማራ ሃይል ሌላም ሌላም እያሉ ምሽግ ማስያዝ ከኩርፊያ ፖለቲካነት ውጪ የትም አያደርስም:: የአንድ ዘር የበላይነት ትግል ለአማራም ሆነ ለሌላው ወደተሻለ ስርአት አያደርስም:: ተከስተ ዘሩን ይዞ መጣ 30 አመት ገዛ ጫላ ዘሩን ይዞ መጣ ለ10 አመት ዘረፈ ፋኖ ዘሩን ይዞ ይመጣል ከቻለ ለዘለአለም ይገዛል ከዚህ የተነሳ ተከስተና ጫላ ተመልስው ጫካ ይገባሉ ደቡብ ሶማሌና አፋር ከእነዚ ጋር የተጣመሩበት ቀን ያላቻ ጋብቻን እድላቸው እየረገሙ እየፎከቱ ይኖራሉ......
እንደዚህ አይነት ነገር መቀጠል ያለበት በደንቆሮዎች ምድር ብቻ መሆን አለበት!

What you said makes sense but it is not practical for Amharas. It is a nationalism that is being built. When you build your nationalism, you will focus more on you than playing with words like Abiy was doing. For the people Amhara who are betrayed you focus on telling them how and who betrayed them. You won't go and talk about playful words that reverse what you have built on your base. People are like a river flow. You direct the flow and speak of nationalism. If you do that and try to play dirty with fakery to appease others, you will confuse your own base. Remember, we are talking about massive people, not individuals

The other thing is , Amhara is a large ethnic group. If it mobilizes itself effectively, it will be a power to be reckoned not only in Ethiopia, but for the region as well. The appeasement politics of former Amhara elites did not work. number #1,2 and 3 you pointed are ideal for the weak elements such as Oromo elites under Abiy. Ethiopianists used similar appeasement and a strategy of giving concession for 50 years to hold the state together. It did not work my friend.

People kind of make themselves comfortable around you when you stand with your own and agressively persue your agenda without harming them. And we all know the Amhara question is not harmful to anyone out there. In short Amhara is not against Ethiopia. Amhara nationalism is a concept that will aggressively compete for power and resource within Ethiopia just like Oromos and Tigres do. And this will be done not in a greedy fashion we saw by PP and TPLF, but in a justifiable manner. As simple as that
