Eskinder is finished. His Ginbot-7 and Ezema enablers attempt to hijack Fano leadership failed. Gonder Ez commanders clearly made a statement that says "we are not part of the fake new annoucement made by Eskinder and his associates"
We can easily summarize now that the following major Fano forces made similar statement
1) Amhara Fano Gondar
2) Amhara Fano Gojjam
3) Misraq Amhara Fano,
4) Amhara Fano Shoa
All made similar statement saying Eskinder and Ethio-360 cooked up that fake announcement that says "Eskinder came out as the leader of all Fanos" but this is now refuted by all Fano commanders.

Not sure if Eskender is shrewed enough to lead the four throng regional Fanos to national stage or power. Generally speaking Eskender appears a good person with good human right activity record. He has paid with his life. Multiple incarcerations in the past and now he gave up all his life and wallowing with Fanos. Hating ethiopianists, nationalists, Ginbot, Ezema is something hating Eskender should be a different thing. Eskender if elected probably will serve as statesman to Fano, organizer and negotiater( which probably is useless at this stage where the fano themselves operate and get funded separately leaving them under the influence of their funders). He is not supposed to make Fano his private property. He should remain accountable to them and he should be putting words in his mouth and they won’t let him run things by himself alone as some kind of Fano board or comittee should be there to guide him. In any case, I don’t even think it is time to have to elect a leader, may be just kind of representative speaker that provides information behalf of Fano. The daunting task for Fano should be that:-
1. To insure Each regional Fano is not driven by different ideology for power. If so that is very dangerous.
2. Bring all regional Fanos in to one political roadmap and central goal. Do they want to secede Amhara or build democracy in ethiopia or install amhara hegemony which likely will backfire big time unlike some Amhara ethnonationalists would like to believe.
3. Completely emancipate the amara region, specially the cities so that they can have more political leverage and can mange the region and freely move place to place to politically organize.
You don’t elect Eskender to negotiate for Fano with Abiy ( that is a red flag) when Fano is not yet organized into one. The regional Fanos need to come to one body first but still operating regionally!

Why are people so desperate for a single person to be in charge of FANO? So far FANO is just doing fine on the 4 regions it controls and successfully engaged with the military operations.
I suspect there is some kind of plots between Diaspora opportunists and the Abiye regime to sabotage the struggle.
They keep blabbering about negotiations. What is there to negotiate with Abiye Ahmed? Do you really trust him?

Yes, Eskinder Nega can communicate about Fano with the approval of FANO. The 4 regional leaders can make decisions militarily and political decisions on their own. But they make decisions on the national level together. For Example all campaigns to Addis from Shoa will be looked after by Shoa Fano. And all campaigns North of Addis from the direction of Sululeta will be looked after by Gojjam Fano. Wollo Fano and Gondar Fano will control the flanks. It is a long and grinding campaign.
Eskinder can’t possibly be in charge of all FANO.
But he can be a spokesman and political advisor.
When FANO has the military upper hand then it will approve a negotiation team that will report to the FANO leadership. Period.
