Perhaps what someone said here is true, if we were all of the same stock, like China which is majority Han (there are minorities of course, but they're what, 10percent or so?); then maybe we'd be able to develop as fast and as well as China did....
Perhaps, a de-centralized, confederation, would be better, where our regional govts focus more on developing their respective states, would serve Ethiopia better?

I will always aspire for my country to do better, regardless of how you feel about it, or regardless of what the challenges and obstacles are.
You do not know what the future holds, Ethiopia may disintegrate, or it may just evolve into a confederation, or etc, only Allaah knows--in spite of your evil wishes for the country and its people.
I as usual, always empathize with you though, as a tigrayan your land was devastated on all sides by war, and your land sent back to the 1950s in regards to development/infrastructure/etc; so I am sorry about that and honestly wish the war never occurred. The people of tigray did not deserve that calamity. Did the elites of opdo/tplf/andm deserve it? Sure, but the people? No.

But of course Ethiopia is not China and it can't develop even an inch by imitating China but by using its own resources and increasing manufacturing to add values and export world wide. The colonial structure of only producing cheap primary products and exporting them at very cheap prices with out processing and adding higher values to these products is like being condemned to permanent poverty out of which No China dream will ever liberate you. So produce a lot from your abundant diverse local resource and also locally process all of these produced resources and after that export them at higher prices to sell to the high paying importers.

This is the way to richness, higher youth employment, high national income, higher level happiness and life satisfaction, very low international debt and low or absent internal crises because money talks and money heals as it satisfies basic human needs. It is meaningless to sit passive on mountains of resources like a fool and starve from year to year fighting each other day and night with no end in sight. Not only China and Singapore but even God will not help you because every one wants that you join hands and help yourselves first and foremost.
