In the G-7 meeting which is taking place in Italy, the Americans are trying to find a formula to counter Chinese and Russian influence in Africa, they knows that the French are toasted in west Africa because already Chad, Mali, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic and recently Senegal are breaking off from the French yoke hence the Americans are trying to scratch their head and hatch a new formula to woo the Africans.

Due to the Houthis threat, The Americans vacated their troops from the little county called Djibouti which shrink Americans influence and cloud in the African continent that is also why according to them, their only chance to have any foot print in Africa is, if they garner the support from South Africa, The kikuyu of Kenya and Orthodox Amhara (their words not mine)

The African national congress the ANC just lost a majority rule in South Africa hence they were coerced to build a coalition government with the white dominated party DA which is giving the Americans a window of opportunity to divert South Africa from the Global south Orbit and come alone to the American one.

The Problem with American policy makers is, they think they are 1970 on which their cloud be it military, culturally and economically is prestent every where and they think Amhara of the past are Amhara of the present hence the rapprochement. Personally, I believe in interest, every country or entity should decide what is best for its own interest, I dont believe in the Eritrean dictator phislophy of Sudanese, Yemenis, Ethiopian or Somalian integration before my own interest hence the amhara should make a decision what it fits them to pursue their own interest.

he American agency Bloomberg has published an article that summarizes all the concerns of the White House on the subject of the presence of Russia and China in Africa.

Speaking from critical positions, the author of the material points out that the US efforts in the African direction are insufficient and rightly recognizes the dominance of Russian and Chinese diplomacy on the continent.

In particular, he notes the lack of regular military interaction with African countries. Moreover, it does not bring any real success in strengthening defense capabilities.

Washington's poor coordination with global allies, such as France, is also noted. And here it should be noted that the American leadership is doing this deliberately, pushing out the French, who have shown their inability to maintain control in Africa.

As a solution, the article cites possible allies with whom to increase coordination. Among them are noted: South Africa, where the government is leaning toward a coalition with pro-Western forces after elections; Ethiopia, where the pro-Russian population of Amhara is oppressed; and Kenya, which was recently labeled a "major non-NATO ally."
