#Eritrea became 182nd member of the United Nations and its flag was raised at #UN HQ in New York. The same date, Eritrea became 52nd member of the OAU (now #AU) and the Eritrean flag at the OAU HQ in Addis Ababa was raised on 4 June.

Eritrea was the first country that declared its independence from war-torn Ethiopia but it won't be the last, many countries in war-torn Ethiopia will follow Eritrea's footsteps.

Somali State is the next country to declare its independence from war-torn Ethiopia.
