Why do the agame hate Eritreans so much so that they have dedicated their entire lives manufacturing lies about Eritrea?
It's a question a lot of Ethiopians have been asking, but only Eritreans know the answer.
The simple answer is, the agame's formal request to become part of civilized Eritrea was denied. They were told that they are Ethiopians and they need to get used to it.
It was not the answer the agame were expecting, so in their retaliation they drafted the TPLF manifesto in 1976 which calls for an independent republic of Tigray by annexing vast swaths of land from Eritrea and the Amhara region. Although they found some level of success in annexing the Amhara lands of Welkait, Humera, Tselemt, and Raya to Tigray, their attempt to steal Eritrean territories was met with fierce resistance that spelled their downfall.
Tigray is now reduced to its former geographical area. Justice prevailed.

Eritreans said they don't want you. Why don't you ask if you could join Ethiopia? We are accepting applications. But we don't allow people with criminal history of stealing crosses from a Church.
