Oromo’s Dual Struggle: Horizontally Checking Naftagna and Vertically Fighting Biltsigina!
Currently, Oromo people are confronted with two enemies: the dictatorial Biltsigina in power and the nostalgic Naftagna trying to comeback to Finfinne palace. Accordingly, Oromo nationalists seem to be devided because of possible prioritization of whom to fight first and most. At this time of power struggle between Naftagna and Biltsigina, some Oromo elites want to support Biltsiginna in order to hinder the coming back of Naftagna, whereas several Oromo nationalists choose to fight against Biltsigina being by default an ally of Naftagna. Which of the two camps is right: those supporting Biltsigina or those in alliance with Naftagna? I think both blocs have to take time and reconsider their stand. As far as I am concerned, all genuine Oromo nationalists in OLA, OFC and OLF should act in unison to check Naftagna and to fight Biltsigina. The dictatorial salisawi Derg (i.e Biltsigina), which hitherto compelled Afaan Oromo be secondary to Amarigna, must go and the nostalgic Naftagna, who are determined to destroy Oromumma, should be checked never to come back to Finfinne palace.

In the last about six years, the triple hybrid (marital, physical and mental hybrid) PM, Dr Abiy Ahmed, tried to sabotage liberation struggle of the Oromo with support of all elites in pro-Amaranet bloc, just to further suppress the development and growth of Oromumma to its legitimate leading position. Fact on the ground is that Ethiopia is project of Western powers formed and kept to be used as bulwark against the Arab invasion in Eastern Africa. They used elites of christian Habesha at the cost of Oromo nation, whom they consider as mainly muslim society, which need to be checked regularly. That is why the West were always sceptical vis a vis Oromo national liberation movement. They used to sabotage our struggle both covertly and overtly. To that end, Oromo elites were instrumentalized repeatedly. During Oromo’s FDG (Fincila Diddaa Garbummaa/ resistance against tyranny) in the year 2005, Ad. Birtukan was promoted from no where to the main opposition leader to lure Oromo nationals towards supporting Ethiopian unity. As the struggle came to decisive position challenging further existance of the country in 2018, Dr. Abiy was raised from no where to PM position. Both Dr. Abiy and Ad. Birtukan were busy checking genuine Oromo nationals in order to save Ethiopia dominated by Amharanet at the cost of Oromummaa. Are they successful as planned? Time will show us in the future!

Few years ago, lady Liberty (Ad. Birtukan) was appointed as leader of Ethiopian election board. She was really the right person for that position because of her integrity and honesty. She was not political merchant or political prostitute as Dr. Abiy once mentioned. She is an Oromo woman with principle and moral, whom the fascist Woyane traumatized just because of her political stand point. She was a woman of her words (a lady with QALE, who refused to give in to Meles Zenawi’s intrigue and manipulation. She deserved respect of all Oromo in particular and that of all Ethiopians in general. Why has she been promoted by Abyssinians at all, and why was she then demoted later? Let’s look at the back ground.

Both Habesha elites and their Western handlers are always busy to deal with Oromo liberation movement. It is not hidden fact that Ethiopia is a project of the West to use it as a bulwark against the influence of Arabs/Islam in Horn of Africa. The views stated in this short essay are personal, which can be complimented or condemned; the author invites his readers to do the feedback. The question to be answered hier can be: is it by chance or by calculation that Birtukan Midhagsa once upon a time has been just promoted to the level of “lady liberty,” “queen Midhagsa” and “Ethiopian Mandela”? How about Dr. Abiy’s promotion now? Why do Oromo elites always be selected to manage crises phases of Ethiopian state (e.g Qusee Dinegde, Teferi Benti, Tesfaye Dinqa, and now Abiy Ahmed)?
