Earliest ancestors of humans who added scavenged meat to their diet lived 2.5 million years before [deleted] sapiens emerged. On the other hand, humans began cooking theirs foods 2.3–1.8 million years ago. From this we can deduce that humans ate raw meat for tens, maybe hundreds, of thousands of years.

[deleted] antecessor, seen by some researchers as the last common ancestor of both Neanderthals and us [deleted] sapiens, did eat raw meat, according to dental plaque analysis. Forensic evidence also reveals that this primitive ancestor was a cannibal who even preyed on infants and children.

Tena yihabeley,
If I have to quote someone, I have to quote my aunt. I asked her once:
Why do ethios eat raw meat or tre-siga?
She said: good question my nephew. I tell you:
When ahmed gragn was chasing them, they were hiding high in mountain peaks and since they are all carnivorous and cannot live without meat, they were eating it while it was raw. The reason to that, my aunt added that if they lit fire to cook the meat then the fire will cause smoke and as a result, it will draw the attention of ahmed gragn soldiers and they will easily locate their position.
Finally,
Come on!

you were raised in addis and married to an amhara woman and you want us to believe that you never did chew tre-siga in your life?

.
Above was another derdesha romadania, 4 days to go for Eid alfetir.

Wdi kerene Tsaeda,
It's true, believe it or not, but I have never consumed that repulsive meat. To be clear, I have never even tasted lebleb kitfo, let alone raw meat.
