Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki and Deputy Commander of the Russian Navy, Admiral Kasatonov, visit the Russian frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov"The vessel, which is of the Russian Pacific Fleet, arrived in the Eritrean port of Massawa on a friendly visit. The Eritrean leader was shown the technical capabilities of the ship, various types of weapons, and told about the history and modernizations of the frigate.
President Isaias Afwerki left an entry in the magazine of honored guests. In memory of his visit to the ship, he was given an officer's cap and vest, Russia's embassy in Eritrea told Sputnik Africa.
