I see copying and pasting by destroying Family system and fabric started by Tplf ;and continuing today. This maybe good gesture but Ethiopia's elders were taken care of by their own family, what happened? Tplf destroyed family and is continuing today by creating articifical inflation so that families can't work/produce and support their family any longer. When government is asked how come, they say, it happens at other country too because what is happening is creating elites that steal from the mass this is what happens in the West, anti family and pro money and greed. That is what we are heading too. Plus by creating such non profit and ngo, owners amass money of funding. in the West donations, non profit, is a billion dollar scheme.

What I say, stop the articifical inflation. You don't increase price on the mass, and monopolizing business in order to produce more poverty! let people be creative and open the economy and creaters from young to old, open the economy to all so that all produce, create and sell not only for the Ethiopian people but also for export to Africa and other countries.

That being said, such orgnization like Samuel is doing is still good. First and foremost, show/teach skills so that the people can work by themselves to feed themselves (providing evil governments such as Tplf and now Eprdf types must be destroyed who are anti populations), not just feeding them. Indeed seniors need support. What is more, these seniors must be integrated within their own family.

The Ethiopian social fabric has been disrupted over the last 60 years by the 3 cancers - EPLF, TPLF & OLF and to some extent by the Derg; and today we have clue or accurate picture of the suffering of the Ethiopian elders. Sure enough the great majority of them are still taken care of by their own extended families, but with growth of urbanization there are millions who must rely on social safety net. Sunshine Center is only a drop in the bucket.
