The counter response from Somalilanders, now taking their demand to across the globe, is making it difficult to the Western powers to ignore the over 3 decades proven viability of Somaliland as a free and independent country. Ignoring the demand of Somaliland would be an insult to the West and to the world that recognized the failed state of Eritrea claiming even after Somaliland's existence and South Sudan, another failed state that put into question the validity of the UN system as a valid and credible accrediting voluntary association of states (i.e. NGO).

It was the UK that first recognized its former colony Zimbabwe and should do the same for Somaliland. And it should never surprise us of UK go a head to declare Somaliland being a sovereign and independent country. Somaliland is on an irreversible course already. No doubt, Ethiopia earned a credit to have taken a bold step to bring Somaliland into the global spot light emphasizing that justice delayed is justice denied - this hurts more the hypocrite world than it does to Somaliland.
