Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the “Worst place on earth”
Here is one of the tourists described the stinky Addis Ababa.
The people are very unfriendly, and dont speak any english, even though it is listed as 1 of 2 official languages.
The locals beg when they see foreigners, and try to take advantage and overcharge.
Crime is rife, as is corruption.
There is nothing to see for tourists, spend max 1 day here.

How much sh!thole Addis Ababa is? Even the Nigerian tourists wrote this. Read..
Essentially African in feel, the chaotic streets appeared inviting and exciting. However, the constant hassle from beggars, hawkers, young men shouting ;Hello my friend - give me money' and prostitutes touting for trade, made my stay a particularly unpleasant one. The onslaught was ever-present and these people are quite persistent and not particularly friendly. I for one, will not be returning as there are far more places to go where the visitor is made to feel welcome.

Its big, but you somehow don't feel it. Tons of people, business, beggars, workers.... messy, but clean (at least where I was roaming around). Old Lada taxis smelling of oil, next to the odd Porsche... (which really seems a bit out of another world). People smile all the time, it feels really nice. Do a little coffee ceremony, that are done all over the place (we went to a little restaurant / bar area not far from Radisson Blu for that, very local style. Great.). It's not a beautiful city, for sure. But it is worth to have a look.

If want quaint, quiet, slightly historical, scrubbed clean, stay in Omaha. Addis heaves with people, small shopkeepers, pickpockets, mad rush of humanity. This city is to be experienced at least once in every life. You'll appreciate your life

Re: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the “Worst place on earth”
F..ked up,
Eritreans are not under any obligation to pour into Addis and settles in illegally. Those who are already there also can leave any time. You can’t have it both ways. And Eritreans shouldn’t have any right to resist deportation.
You better watch your mouth. Remember you are standing on one leg and nobody is interested for your kidneys.

Agame wrong
But you don’t even allow to venture outside Addis Ababa, even a one kilometer; if you do, your skinny neck would be cut off loke a chicken and dump in the garbage like you are. At least in Eritrea, from Assab to Karora, a citizen could venture anywhere he/she wants and never has to fear for his/her safety

Fed_Up, the best phrase describing the jungle messed up Addis is the one who said”
“If you want to appreciate life or what you got, you need to visit Addis at least once”
LOL
That is what I always say and you all heard me say it here numerous times.
“Addis aka Ethiopia is an institute on what and how not to be”
But even though Addis is the worst of the majority of the blacks African (except the Arabs and of course Asmara) capital cities but all of the black African capital cities are uncomfortable, smelly, overcrowded and nasty cities.
To compare Asmara with them especially with Addis is comparing apples and oranges.
Asmara is the cleanest, comfortable, easy to walk, very safe city.
These idiots pointing few dilapidated building of old age (as if their are not worse) doesn’t define Asmara.
Besides people come first before infrastructures.
Ethiopia’s people unlike us the Eritreans are dilapidated….for sure 85% of their entire population.
Facts.

Seriously!
Even a fuc.king Nigerian is feeling such an extreme dislike and disapproval of Addis!
There are two places that I usually hate as hell - crowded places and dirty places. Since these two are apparently going hand in hand in Addis, it's not for me. Thank you.
Fed-Up,
Thanks for the heads-up.
Re: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the “Worst place on earth”
Ascaris are 2 million left after they delivered 1.666 million kidneys and livers to the arabs so they now too angry again at the uncolonized and proud Ethiopians

Re: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the “Worst place on earth”
Again, what ever issues we have in Ethiopia is our own business. We strictly advise you Askaris that you are not welcomed to the country you hate. And those Eritreans in Ethiopia are strictly advised with all your evil intents to leave the country immediately. You can blabber all day about Ethiopia and embarrass yourself. But you don’t even allow to venture outside Addis Ababa, even a one kilometer
Re: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the “Worst place on earth”
Forgive us for making a mistake coming to the biggest sh!thole country called Ethiopia. We came from a country three meals of a day, Eritrea to one meal a day, Ethiopia. We will correct it.Right wrote: ↑10 Mar 2024, 13:50Again, what ever issues we have in Ethiopia is our own business. We strictly advise you Askaris that you are not welcomed to the country you hate.
