It is all about energy, it empowers everything we see and live in, technology, society, economy, international relations and many more.

If you control the source of energy, then you control the engine that empowers the world.

Ethiopia is on the rise, we said long time ago not without a reason.

Ethiopia doesn't need to export the surplus source of energy, which could cost more to provision and operate. The consumer of energy will itself come to Ethiopia and beg Ethiopia for it, right on the site. It has already started by the modern technologies that consume massive amount of energy but can't find anywhere else in the world like in Ethiopia.

The technology companies are under pressure of finding energy, where possible green energy while protecting the environment and curb climate change. No one else may have more potential for this than Ethiopia currently.

Sudan and Egypt have to behave well wenn demanding the use of our waters, this is in our hand and we have the all the rights to make of use of what is in our hand.

Ethiopia's energy potential is already attracting the attentions of many from all over the world:

Ethiopia has the potential to generate more than 60,000 MW of electric power from hydroelectric, wind, solar, and geothermal sources. It also has seven trillion cubic feet of proven natural gas reserves in its Ogaden Basin. Despite this strong potential, Ethiopia has struggled to tap into its natural energy sources due to a lack of investment. At present, it has 5,200 MW of installed generation capacity, which supplies electricity to less than 60 percent of the Ethiopian population. The government aims to increase this capacity to 17,000 MW within the next decade, but there are fears that demand may still outpace supply as both the economy and population continue to grow.

At the same time Ethiopia doesn't have time to provision the demanded energy supply, it needs massive investment. I am not sure why Europe and US are sitting idle and looking at it from the sidelines, where is the crocodile tears for the environment? Why do they deny Ethiopia sufficient loans and other forms of investment, what do they think is more rewarding than investing in developing energy sources?????

Ethiopian authorities have temporarily suspended the issuance of new operation permits for cryptocurrency mining ventures after awarding permits to no less than 21 firms.

Even all or most of Abiy superficial beautifications are done by the contributions of wealthy business people and industrialist. What a fallacy is it here? Now all of the sudden you try to admit there is a change but still insist on disparaging those who brought it about.

Addis is more than 130 years, where were those individual persons all that time then? Are they new born?

While having no contribution to the actual work on the ground you dare also to call other's efforts "superficial beatifications". You were calling for boycotting of what is being done in Ethiopia until very recently, still you dare to call others name? Do you have sense of shame?

You tried hard to make it appear that somebody is purposely starving some section of the Ethiopian people, without presenting any sort of supporting evidence, as usual.

What we see is that the government is trying to help those in need, mobilizing resources, sensationalizing the public towards those who couldn't afford like the introduction of dining with those in need (ማዕድ ማጋራት), from which we never heard before at the government level, crafting a policy of supporting those in needs by the youth during school free times (የአቅመ-ደካሞችን ቤት ማደስ ና መገንባት), building and offering new homes to those who can't afford (thousands, if not hundreds of thousands over the last few years, have benefited from this scheme only in Addis, regions are also adopting the scheme and many more.

What you are essentially saying is that the government shouldn't use the scarce resources to invest into the future of the nation: it should stay where it is and help those needing food to eat. It did already and there is no end of hunger: Tigray has been allocated around 63 Billion ETB since the end of the war (according to some reports) but still it is complaining about hunger.
You can never eradicate hunger by providing more and more help (aid). You have to enable the recipient to help itself somewhere down the road.

From those parks and other development projects you are trying to criticize there are also thousands of the youth who are gaining not only income for today but also a more durable skills for their future. Thousands of Ethiopian youth are gaining very helpful skills, which will going to help the country in the future to build it from bottom up. All those new architectural magnifications are being built by Ethiopians themselves, which is a big potential for the future of the country. This is more than investing in the buildings and other projects, it is an investment into the future of the nation.

We can eat everything we have and forget about tomorrow, is what you are expecting the government to do. That is to your level.

There is no development without an investment, an investment can only happen if we try to save from the meager resources and put it to the future.

Youtubers can try to dictate that but those in the government have proven time and again that they do understand what to do, they are availing in that. If you live in denial then that is your choice.

የመንግስትን ብልሹነት ለመላካት በመዲናችን እና በመጨረሻ ገጠር ጥግ የሚኖሩት የአብዛኛውን ስዎች አኗኗር ማየት ነው። ስለ አዲስ አበባ አፍህን ብትዘጋና ምንም ባታወራ ይሻላል። አንተ በዪቱብ እንደምታቀረሸው ሳይሆን ፣ አብዛኛው ሰው በቀን ከአንድ ጊዜ በላይ መብላት አይችልም፣ ደዌ ከያዘውም ቸሩ መድሃንያለም ይደርስለት ይሆናል እንጂ ህክምና የሚባል ቦታ አጠገቡ ሳይደርስ ድፍት ብሎ ይሞታል። ኮንዶሚኒየም የምትለውንም ዋናው ተጠቃሚ ማህከለኛና ከዚያ በላይ ገቢ ያለው ነው። እነሱም ቢሆኑ 15-20 ሺህ አከራይተው ሌላ ቦታ ተዳብለው ይኖራሉ ወይንም ሁለት ሶስቱን አጭበርብረው ወስደው ይሸጡታል ካልሆነም ኪራይ ይሰበስቡበታል። እኔ 12-15 ዓመት ተመዝገበው የሚጠብቁ ሰዎች አውቃለሁ። የቁጩ ልማት ላንተ ከጠቀመህ ይመችህ።
