እኔ አሁን ስላለው ሁኔታ እንጂ የፃፍኩት ወደፊት ኤርትራ ውስጥ ስለሚሆነው ለመጠንቆል አይደለም። ለወደፊት የሚሆነው የኤርትራውያኖች የውስጥ ጉዳይ ስለሆነ የማያገባኝ ነገር ውስጥ ገብቼ መትፈት አልፈልግም። ፍላጎቱና መተባበሩ ካላቸው ግን ለራሳቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን ለጎረቤትም የሚተርፍ የተፈጥሮ ፀጋ አላቸው።

እዚህ ያሉት የህግደፍ ካድሬዎች ግን የፈጠራ ታሪክና አሉባልታ ከመፈብረክና ስለማያገባቸው የኢትዮጵያ ጉዳይ ቀንና ለሊት ከማሰላሰል በተረፈ ለሃገራቸው ምንም የማይረቡ ውዳቂዎች ናቸው። ሃገር በወሬ ብቻ አይገነባም።

እየተከባበርን እውነት እውነቱን እንነጋገር!

ጣሊያኖች ኤርትራ ውስጥ ብቻ ከ 2500 በላይ ፋብሪካዎች ከፍተው የራሳቸውንም ሰዎች ኤርትራውያኖችንም ቀጥረው ይንቀሳቀሱ ነበር። ለዚህም ነበር በኋላ ኤርትራውያኖች ወደ መካከላዊው የኢትዮጵያ ክፍል መጥተው በእጅ ሙያ ራሳቸውንም ህዝቡንም ሲጠቅሙ የነበረው። በሃይለስላሴ ጊዜም የኤርትራ ኢኮኖሚ ከሌሎቹ የኢትዮጵያ ክፍለ ሃገራት በብዙ እጥፍ በበለጠ ተደራጅቶ ለመቀጠሉ የ1972 Expo መመልከት ነው። ደርግም ኤርትራ ውስጥ ብዙ ግንባታ ያደርግ እንደነበረ አውቃለሁኝ ምክንያቱም አጎቴ መሐንዲስ ሆኖ በምፅዋና በአስመራ መካከል እየተመላለሰ ብዙ የፕሮጀክት ማኔጅመንት ይሰራ ነበር። ከዚያ ሁሉ የማስታውሰው የአስመራ የህትመት ፋብሪካና ምፅዋ ውስጥ የመንግስት ሰራተኞች መኖሪያና መዝናኛ ቦታ ያሰራ እነደነበር ነው። (ዕርጉም ወያኔዎች ገና ብዙ ይደርስባቸዋል ለፈፀሙት ግፍ ፣ በኋላ እስር ቤት ውስጥ ቀጥቅጠው ገደሉት!)

ኤርትራ ለብዙ ዘመናት ለስልጣኔ በሯ ክፍት የነበረና፣ በጣም ውብና በሰዎች እንቅስቃሴዎች የተሞላች ሀገር ነበረች። ዛሬ ግን የሰዎች ቁጥር ተመናምኖ እስከ ዛሬ የተሰሩት ንብረቶች ፈራርሰው አዲስ ነገር ምንም ሳይጨመር ወናና የghost town መምሰላቸው በጣም ያሳዝነኛል። ሌላ የሚገርመኝ ነገር ከተማዎችንና ኢንዱስትሪዎችን በጣሊያኖች ምክንያት በብዛት ቀድመው ቢጀምሩም፣ ከ 80% በላይ የሚሆነው ህዝብ እስከ አሁን በግብርና ነው የሚተዳደረው። ይኸ አሃዝ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ወደ 70% ወርዷል። I am not saying one is good and the other bad but it’s an indicator of the population distribution and urbanization dynamics.

After the federation Ethiopia has invested enormously educating the Eritreans. Numerous Eritrean scholars, professionals has been trained in Ethiopia and abroad. The current dysfunctional university of Asmara university was established by Ethiopia but not Italia. Today it is a non existent. Half of the high schools Ethiopia built half of them are gone. In its 32 years of existence, Eritrea has never produced a pool of educated elites and that is detrimental for the future of a country.

The industries, the idiot Eritreans bragging about, Italy has built it with Ethiopia in mind. Without Ethiopia they are nothing but a piece of money losing machines. Today they are rusted and are an ecological disaster.

Oh, and about Eritrean truckers, mechanics and technicians that the Italians used during colonization as slave labour but later have found dignified existence in Ethiopia. Without Ethiopia they would have been nothing but a former slaves proud of their past lives under slave masters.

Without Ethiopia it is a dead end for every min-states in the HOA.

What Italy left behind was dismantled and taken by the British. More than 60% of Eritrea's products were sent to other parts of Ethiopia. When the war started, it killed off the remaining industries. That is pretty much the downward spiral of Eritrea's economy.
