Habeshaness is a fluid, not a static identity. It is like borders that expand and contract depending on many factors. There are Afro Semetic people from the north Tigrayt speakers as Habeshas past the Afro-Semetic Guragie people in the center who may be Christians or Muslims, Amhara or Tigrayan Jeberti Muslims, Agaw Kushetic people in Ethiopia and Agaw Bilen in Eritrea.
Some former Habesha people along the periphery may not identify themselves now as as Habeshas, along the Sudanese border. The are people in southern India that still identify themselves as Habesha.
There are clusters of people in the Arab world who call themselves as Habeshi, not as ethnic but as sub-ethnic group because they believe they are originally from Abyssinia.

Debub Hizboch are Omotic and they are also partially Habesha especially those who live closer to Central Ethiopia
