Somalia has never agreed with anyone to co-manage Somalia's airspace, leave alone defaulting such an agreement, which has never taken place.

In 2020, it was agreed to appoint a committee to discuss how Somalia would manage its airspace and nothing else. Such a committee has never been appointed or formed, and therefore neither the would be committee nor Somalia have ever agreed on anything with anyone, leave alone defaulting the agreement, as one cannot default an agreement they've never entered into.

Forming such a committee was the outcome or what was agreed between the Somali government led by Farmajo and the mindless enclave with the mediation of Djibouti, and the mediation took place in Djibouti. In the mediation, it was agreed on four points, and one of them was to form such a committee.

The third round of the talks aiming at developing political dialogue and relations between Somalia and Somaliland was hosted by Turkey between 16 and 19 January 2014 in Istanbul. A communiqué on agreed issues was adopted following the negotiations between delegations chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdikarim Hussein Guled, Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Somalia and H.E. Mr. Mohamed Bihi Yonis, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Somaliland.

This communique includes crucial matters such as the procedure to be followed in the subsequent negotiations, the decision-making process, the establishment of a joint secretariat in Turkey to institutionalize the negotiation process and the conduct of a round of talks once in every 90 days.

Turkey welcomes the Communique aiming at developing the relations between the governments of Somalia and Somaliland. Turkey, which has been making every effort towards the prosperity and stability of the people of friendly and brotherly Somalia in cooperation with the international community, will be continuing to host and help the negotiations between Somali and Somaliland.

H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu has called and congratulated both Ministers at the end of the meeting.

The minister is telling the truth u can see in the comminque it was agreed uppon as the turkish Forgein minsitery also states. its true that the Somali government retracted and rejected the deals HSM signed. This was done during the farmaajo government. the wasiir also said that back in 2019 Somalia federal republic re took the entire Somali airspace and he even accused Bihi and co not contesting Farmaajo on this. Everything he said is true. Somalia and Somaliland agreed to comanage airspace.

Farmaajo took back the airspace disregarding the former agreements which is also true. We agree in 2020 the Somali goverment continued to keep the airspace as it took it back in 2019. Which is also true

ur right qat is bad and it ruined the society economically, but i dont think any region of Somalia is worthless or that the people are worthless. Somalis in the north are also formidable in their strength to keep up the Somali name when the south was going through anarchy they build a peaceful region for themselves. They managed to use their elders to keep the peace while south couldnt agree how to govern when president Mohammed siyad bare left the country and turned into anarchy.

Not just Somaliland but also puntland did very well, i am also glad the south is catching up. Clanism how ever is wide spread ur right its strong in the north but i also exist in Galbeed only us in Djibouti have the least clanism.

How ever this is not a strategy to keep the north in limbo together we stand divided we fall if we let them remain in limbo our enemies will use our selves against us we should not let that happen we should make agreements between our selves.
