Egypt’s foreign minister Sameh Shoukry headed on Thursday morning to Eritrea to deliver a message from President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to his counterpart Isaias Afwerki and to tackle regional challenges, including developments in the Horn of Africa and Gaza.
Egypt backed Somalia’s rights, expressing its full rejection of any measures that would undermine Somalia's sovereignty, and stressing the right of Somalia and its people, alone, to benefit from its resources.
