These two issues aren’t mutually exclusive; i can support one and not support the other or supporting both or vs. thus, Eritrea, of course could support both at the same time; why do you think we couldn’t do that? Eritreans are led by principles and not by self-interest. They support what is right and oppose what is wrong. They opposed TPLF's desire to break Ethiopia in dozen pieces, mind you in 1985 when it might have appeared to some that it was to their self-intersect to achieve victory. They oppose Abiy's idiotic desire to acquire a sea outlet by trampling on Somalia's sovereignty. They support Fano's aspiration to free the Amhara from the oppression.

Ethiopians should always ask themselves what is right and what is wrong. Just because you feel small because you don't have a port of your own doesn't mean you have a right to go and take what is not yours. Only wild animals do that!

I do believe Eritreans and Somalis have the best bond in the horn of africa stronger then any other ethnic group

Somalis and eritreans never ever had any sort of conflict minus the small conflict between my country Djibouti and Eritrea around Ras Doumeira. Other then that all relations were warm. Sheikh Mohammed idris is a Somali half Ertrean Sheikh his mother is From Somalia his father is an Eritrean Saho and is one of the most loved Sheikh.
Eritrea and Somalia share the same colonial legacy Mogadishu and Asmara have the same architecture.
Somalis have backed Eritrean nationalist during the war for independence of Eritrea the 30 years war
They returned the favour back in 2006 in our darkest hour they stood with us .
