I got in contact with some residents of Gondar and the details coming from the Fano attack in Gondar is horrible. ENDF soldiers were told that Fano fighters would gather in the outskirts of Gondar for the christmas celebration and were ordered to go out of the city and attack Fanos.

ENDF launched the attack early in the morning but already in midday, Fanos were pushing back and chasing ENDF to the city center. Many ENDF and militias members were killed and residents speak of seeing many ENDF dead bodies on the streets and could count up to 5 Oral patrols of full of ENDF corpses taken out of the city after Fano withdrew. They said it was a horrible and sad scene looking at so many ENDF corpses all over the streets. Fanos also captured and took several militias with them.

I’m very sure the mad man Abiy gives no sh-t about these young lives or their families.

Btw, many PP leaders and administrators of the city fled to save their lives. Many have still not returned.
