Reflection on Somaliland and her recognition as well as port

The jubilation and excitement in Somaliland is visible (Video Below). It shows Somaliland have no desire at all to be with Somalia and will continue this effort so long as they get recognition. This will change the region's political dynamics and here is my take.

1) Eritrea - her hope dashed. the expected port revenue went to thin air. Eritrea will get poor and poor and poor and poor till everyone vacates it. Eritrean activists are back on hating Ethiopia. they don't want differentiate Oromuma from Ethiopia
2) Tigray - supports the event. particularly aimed at hurting Eritrea and pleasing Oromuma
3) Oromuma - They supported it because they are cash strapped and wanted to build a military (navy) base. But they added one more determined enemy i.e Somalia. Good job Oromuma !!
4) Amhara - business as usual. don't care. Focus is 4 killo. The addition of somalia in the axis equation is a blessing
5) Beher Behereseboch and mixed Ethiopians - they are everywhere
6) Djibouti - will be upset because her revenue dwinddle also her GDP
7) Sudan - is too busy fighting each other
8 ) Egypt - one opportunity to weaken the entire ethiopia through Somalia

Obviously, ጠንጋራ only sees half of the story. What about the protest in Mogadishu? When did you survey people’s opinion or is that just your imagination and collection of cadres’ judgements?

ወያኔ ምንም በማያገናኛት የሶማሊያ ጉዳይ ለሃጯን ከምታዝረከርክ ከጎረቤቷ ኤርትራ ጋር ሰላም ብትፈጥር ያዋጣታል።

Misraq,

Your hate over Eritrea has no bounds. Ethiopia is a cash strapped country run by an idiot. Ethiopia is not stable. It is a third world country with ethnic federal government set up that threatens its integrity. Ethiopia never had a good economy. It had depended on western donors. Its exploding size of population is ticking bomb to its own existence. Eritrea does not need any port revenue from Ethiopia. All it needs is a democratic savvy government that can chart peace and prosperity into the future. The aging unproductive government in Eritrea is not going to last. Stop shedding fake tears for the Eritrean people.

Dark E,

I have no hate to Eritrea. I simply stated the facts and the likely outcome. Instead of refuting that, you went on stating how poor and emploding Ethiopia is which we have never denied. If you are saying that Eritrea wasn't hoping Ethiopia to use ports, you are lying to yourself. The TPLF government hit Eritrea economically by diverting outlet to Djibouti. PP follows the same step now by adding Somaliland. I think time for Eritreans to revise your intended revenue forecast and forumlate your policies. Economic forcasts only should be made with hard and factual data not hopes as you do now

Brother Misraq,

This changes the whole political approach in east Africa particularly for us. The Somaliland and somalia will most likely not be one country again. If they can't settle it peacefully, the two will end up in a BIG war.

However Somalia is still a single country as of now. So Fano will not interfere in this. Let the doma oromuma finish its mess he got into due to pressure from Fano.

Ethiopia for sure is in a win-win situation here!

Thanks to the religion of peace, Somalia is broken beyond repair. The people of Somaliland like the people of Kenya and South Sudan was British colony and it has every right to go its own as its people wants.
For the people of Mogadishu and environs to live in peace, and free themselves from the Koran flipping, self exploding and 72 virgin awards dreamers, they need to let Somaliland free.
As far as I know, the proud Amharas had never been anybody's slaves, like the Arab slaves in the Horn of Africa, therefore, a Somali can only ride his camel or donkey to reach Hargesa.
In Ethiopia, be it Amhara or Oromo or Afar or Tigrayan or Guragie, they will always, rightly, need and demand their own port. This will not stop, as long as they live 60 km from the sea but denied to use it, while others use their Nile and Shebbele rivers for free.
Those who doe not want to listen to Ethiopian pain and suffering need to be ready to live in perpetual war, displacement, inter ethnic conflict, disintegration and economic degradation, as Sudan, Somalia and Eritrea are going thru.
If there is no peace in Ethiopia, one needs to expect his house to burn anytime. This is a lesson the Arab slaves and servants learn very late, because they think the opportunist greedy Arab will come and save them. Truth is the Arab can not save himself.

Eritrea's hope will not be dashed unless they become to angry, too irrational, vulgar, insulting and shooting in all directions helping the dead jungle bandits instead of breathing deep, calming down, cooperate with Ethiopia and try to save what is to be saved and offer additional extra competitive familiar choices from what they have. There are always some ways for peace and cooperation. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

I don't think that Tigrians want to hurt Eritrea intentionally and irrationally but only want to protect themselves against all odds around that restless environment. Security is the essence. As for the Oromos they are always ready for the promotion of peace and democracy whether it is In Tigrai or some where else in Ethiopia. And Oromos love the Tigrians. ONE LOVE, and will help them in any way they can if needed.

The democratic and egalitarian Oromos strongly support the port project because they love that Mamma Ethiopia should also be there where ever the other nations and nationalities were and are stationed for the betterment of their national interests and interests of the world and Mamma Ethiopia. Oromos also love the Somali people with whom they share common heritage and sentiments which can talk even without saying a word. May the great Good bless both peoples and help them to be harmonious with each other. God only hate haters where ever they happen to be.

Djibouti needs to compete and offer competitive advantages to Ethiopia because competition is an economic principle governing trades and investments. Nothing is personal.
Sudan is a victim of colonialist divide and rule traditions and practices which they are trying to sort out through violence. Let the great God help them.

Egypt needs to keep its hands off Ethiopia knowing that ancient Ethiopian kushitics ruled over Egypt and developed multiple magnificent advanced systems in several areas of knowledge and wisdom such as the medical sciences being in use even up to this days.

For example Imhotep (born 27th century BCE, Memphis, Egypt) was a vizier, sage, architect, astrologer, and chief minister to Djoser (reigned 2630–2611 BCE), the second king of Egypt’s third dynasty, who was later worshiped as the god of medicine in Egypt and in Greece, where he was identified with the Greek god of medicine, Asclepius. He is considered to have been the architect of the step pyramid built at the necropolis of Ṣaqqārah in the city of Memphis. The oldest extant monument of hewn stone known to the world, the pyramid consists of six steps and attains a height of 200 feet (61 metres).

No they will NOT end up "in Big war" in spite the fashionable hot rhetoric for public consumption. What do they gain from wars other than death, devastation and doom. And they know that more tan any one. If they fight and finish each other it means others will come and pick up what is left behind. Isn't fighting for over 2000 years already more than enough. They better settle issues peacefully and amicably and develop their own respective resources and enjoy life with out violence.

Abiye is not a trustworthy guy to do anything.
But the idea of Ethiopians working with the brotherly people of Somalia is very exciting. The people of Somali Land are industrious. And the people of Somalia will come on board when the benefits of working with Ethiopia is explained to them. Somalians are smart enough to understand there is nothing they can change by using force.

The Eritreans and their Ethiopian mercenaries are mad as hell and let them burn in jealousy. And those donkey Ethiopians who are calling the evil Eritreans that tried to create an illegal border 60 km inland as a border as brothers, all I can say is that let god punish for your stupidity. There is a reason why they call you a donkey.

Brother Union,
You really have a reading problem. I insulted the G7 followers and supporters of Eritrea against Ethiopia who are siding with Eritrea in land locking Ethiopia.

Just read it before you jump into an unnecessary comments. This is not your first time doing this.
Regardless I see you as a patriotic Ethiopian.
