2023: The Year Abiy Ahmed Destroyed Himself! (Why Does Abiyot Keep Screwing Himself)
Abiy Ahmed had a golden opportunity to become a great Ethiopian leader. But for reasons only God knows, the man decided to commit suicide just when he was on the cusp of greatness. Today, he is a pathetic figure who is being condemned by Patriarchs as a reincarnation of pure evil. And he is starting the new year by challenging the sovereignty of Somalia. We shall see where this idiotic blunder will take him. Abiyot is like a little child who can't help wrecking his doll-house.

Re: 2023: The Year Abiy Ahmed Destroyed Himself!
Abiy Ahmed, when confronted with a choice of either paying $33 million and avoid Ethiopia going into default, or building a multi billion dollar palace for himself, he chose the latter. Now Ethiopia has formally defaulted on its debt, pushing millions of Ethiopians to the brink of famine and starvation.
The agame @Red/Union/Right should erect a statue for Abiy in Mekelle.

Somaliland is to Somalia, as Taiwan is to China.
When the UAE acquired a lion's share of 51% of the Berbera port in 2018, while Somaliland holds 30% and Ethiopia 19%, the sovereign nation of Somalia was quick to reject the deal, arguing that only the central government in Mogadishu can sign international agreements – such as those concerning the use of ports in its territory.
This means Ethiopia will be the first country in the world to recognize Somaliland, which Somalia sees as a violation on its sovereignty that could lead to an all-out war, further destabilizing an already fragile region. May God protect Ethiopia from the forces of darkness occupying the Arat Kilo palace.
Re: 2023: The Year Abiy Ahmed Destroyed Himself! (Why Does Abiyot Keep Screwing Himself)
All along, while Abiy was stating that Ethiopia needed to have a port of its own by hook or by crook, he already had under his sleeves the agreement with Somaliland. Abiy knew that the Mogadishu government didn't have the power to extend its grip to Somaliland, even without Ethiopia's heavy-handed involvement. The Somaliland government made a calculated move, closely witnessing Djibouti's astronomical economic development on the back of Ethiopia. By agreeing to give Ethiopia a port, it will guarantee a Djibouti-style development for its people. This desperate move by Abiy is going to have a seismic shift in the region's governments rigid political stance, which have calculated that their interests would be served by keeping Ethiopia blocked from accessing the sea to make it vulnerable enough to exploit.Once Ethiopia's rocking boat gets stabilized, it has the potential to lift up the whole region. For that to happen, however, there must be goodwill among the members of the Horn region, emerging out of win-lose calculations.sesame wrote: ↑01 Jan 2024, 15:45Abiy Ahmed had a golden opportunity to become a great Ethiopian leader. TGAA,
Sorry to burst the balloon of your silly hallucinations. Abiy is a dead man walking and his latest prank one of the stupidest. He keeps exposing his low IQ. Ethiopia's fundamental problems are not going to be resolved by gimmickry. And if you think the ongoing Fano uprising is just a hickup that will go away then you are stupider than Abiy. Who do you imagine is going to give Abiy billions of dollars to develop his port and the roads to link to it?

To be fair, Somalilands borders date back to the colonial times, (and have been at peace for decades,)the same way Eritrean borders were/are, which are the same borders that placed Badme within Eritrea.
If Somaliland overwhelmingly wants to be its own state, then why would an Eritrean, who it doesn't effect nor is it your business, care or oppose it? It's between Ethiopia and them. Has nothing to do with Eritrea. Ethiopia, so far, hasn't said it recognized SL independence either. Somalia has to get rid of al shabab first and secure its capital, before it could worry about SL, let's be fair here.

The UAE has an axe to grind against Djibouti for terminating its lucrative 30-year port operations contract which it awarded to China. UAE luring low IQ Abiy away from Djibouti's port to the UAE-operated port of Berbera may provide the UAE a temporary sense of satisfaction because it feels like it got its revenge, but it will cause the most intractable problems for Ethiopia posed by an angry Somalia next door that sees the Berbera port and Somaliland as part of its sovereign territories. Abiy signing a port deal with Somaliland is akin to Somalia singing an oil extraction deal with the Ogaden region.

If I or any Eritrean brother or sister for that matter see it from a neutral point of view, you are absolutely correct that this neither affects us, nor is it our business. However, if you have been following the whole Red Sea Access for ownership claim by the incapable PM Abby aka fake Samuel Zemichael followed by non-stop propaganda through his low IQ Pee Pee cadres, I assume your can understand why Eritreans are reacting the way we are reacting. Remember, he explicit talked about Eritrean ports by Mentioning the bast*ard Criminal Allula Aba-Nega after we played significant role to save his government from the selfie obsessed TPLF rag tag militia. How would your react/feel if anybody makes provocative statement that claim Oromian territory?
It just shows that the people of Eritrean have learned the hard way that any Ethiopian leader including from Oromo are the same. In addition to that I think there is nothing wrong to point out the clown Abby's lack of integrity and immaturity. He is one bast*ard immature leader!!

Before you create a smog out of your empty kettle, at least try to understand the gist of what I'm saying. I am neither fooled by Abiy's last prank nor lacking understanding of the evolving popular movement spearheaded by Fano. The former, as is the nature of all pranks, lacks substance, while the latter is a response to the genocidal nature of the Oromo nationalism ideology led by Abiy. Shemils wouldn't stop until the threat is uprooted and thrown into the dustbin of history once and for all.sesame wrote: ↑01 Jan 2024, 19:23TGAA,

On the other side of Horn politics is the uncalled-for ganging up politics of Ethiopia's neighbors who think that making Ethiopian interests irrelevant in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean is the best and beneficial to them. For example, the recent exclusion of Ethiopia from the Red Sea security meeting. A country that is 25 KM away from the Red Sea is deemed not to have an interest in Red Sea security—go figure. This kind of policy is wrong-headed, and in the long run, it doesn't bring peace and prosperity to the region. Taking Ethiopian national interests seriously by neighboring countries is in their own interest, or to do otherwise is self-defeating. This kind of thinking may be above your pay grade, but try it for a change.

I am not aware of what he said about alula, what did he say exactly & where is the video of it? Thanks in advance.
I understand why Eritreans are mad at abiy, insulted, angered, etc, but once again, this issue is not their business.
Regarding Ethiopian leaders, they will always be like most African leaders, which is: they will do what's best to preserve their power, even if it's immoral, illegal, wrong, etc. If opdo/abiy didn't hesitate to commit war crimes in oromia, their purported home region; it'd be silly and illogical for others to expect better treatment or to expect loyalty.
In regards to eritrea saving his govt, let's be fair, eritrea got involved primarily and mostly due to its OWN security interests, not out of pure good-will, to ''save abiy's regime,'' it's because tplf was and maybe to a smaller/less extent, is a security threat, so eritrea had to get involved.
